Hi Pat , thanks for your feedback the journey to Abu Simbel is long as it is just over 300 kilometres south of Aswan , but as it is an amazing temple for many reasons we believe the trip is worth it, we do do trips where Abu Simbel is an optional tour so that people can chose if they want to go the extra mile so to speak - DS
