This was a good trip with beautiful views and awesome hiking. BUT, there is a lot of driving. A lot of driving. New hotel every night except one two night stay. Many hours everyday driving in a full van, not all that comfortable. We often left around 7:30 and did not arrive to our new location until 5-6 p.m. While these days included short stops and hikes it was still 5 to 6 hours of driving most days.

Thanks for the review- we certainly maximize the days on this one- with full days hiking in Lake Louise, exploring the icefield parkway and a full morning for hiking in Jasper. Glad you enjoyed your tour!

Outstanding tour of the Western Canadian Rockies! Can’t say enough good things about this tour. From start to finish Bindlestiff Tours was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and shared in the excitement of our upcoming tour. The tour itself was outstanding. A small groups tour that is perfectly designed to showcase the highlights of the Canadian Rockies. Our guide was so much fun, giving a ton of interesting commentary and local stories making sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the parks. The scenery was amazing and the hotels of a very high quality. We really enjoyed our tour with Bindlestiff and will certainly be returning for more tours in the future!

We are indeed satisfied with the tour through Canadian Rockies. Both of us me and my wife are delighted at the sites we visited. The guides were helpful and kept asking the group if there are any questions related to the intinerary , offering to accommodate them. They tried their best to make us fulfilled and to raise our interest in the surroundings we passed through . The guides were knowledgeable, approachable willing to provide and cater for our needs. They are young men, lively , full of life , inspiring us to make it happen again! Our expectations were met entirely thanks to your agency and to the guides you employed . We will recommend this company to my friends. Anton

The tour and itinerary were really great. Unfortunately the guides didn't stick to the itinerary and we missed our some places. I felt that the guides saw this tour more as a vacation for themselves and not as a job. Moreover did they choose things they wanted to do and places they wanted to see and we just had to go with it. So we were taken the chance to see Jasper and the and the hot springs. Neither did we visit China Town in Vancouver eventhough we had lots of time on either days the weather was great and we arrived way too early at our hotels. It seemed like the guides skipped those places because THEY didn't want to see it. All over I would say the customer service on this tour was very low since the guides didn't do any effort to make us happy give us different options and I honestly have the feeling they saw it as a vacation for themselves. Since they were into nature and hiking and not into other stuff we skipped some things which in my point of view is a big no go. Besides that I never had the feeling they would care much about the people on the bus and are just interested into the next hiking place they could go .Due to that I would NOT RECOMMEND this company. If you like the itinerary choose another provider . I will NEVER book this company again. I had already lots of tours all over the world but in customer service this one was the worst. Besides that the Clearwater lodge is horrible the ceiling is broken there's stains all over the place furniture /sheets. The entire hotel is in a horrible condition. The Vancouver hotel is right next to a night club so it's super loud all night long. The other accommodations were great. Still over all I am dissatisfied with the tour.

Denise- allow me to address your comments. You booked your tour through a 3rd party www which means that they control the tour description. I can assume that the customer service you are referring to is also through the 3rd party agent with whom you... Show more

The scenic portion was excellent. Mike Brown was excellent. The seating in the van was tight for so many hours. We only had 9 and I couldn’t imagine 14 in van. The HoJo in Vancouver is not very good. Old, moldy and broken at best

Can't say enough enough about this company. This was the second tour I have done with Bindlestiff and I will be back to do their Yellowstone tour next year. Both times the guides have been phenomenal, entertaining, friendly, professional and helpful with outstanding area knowledge, stories and history. I camped but there was a lodging option. The camping gear was new and the tents easy to put up. We had many great nights around the campfire! And then there is the Canadian Rocky Mountain scenery- WOW. The tour is extremely well paced with activities sand highlights every day. We hiked, glacier walked, helicoptered over the Rockies and had the option to mountain bike in either Whistler or Jasper. Vancouver was also great and the guides gave us a comprehensive tour of Stanley park, Granville market and Gas town. Great city and fantastic tour all around.
