- Kerri· October 28th, 2023Coming from our fantastic Galapagos Trip and want to give you some Feedback. Transfers at day one were perfect and all the Guides did a good job. Day 2, the Flamingo Lagoon was not a good choice. We saw a dirty water lake with 2 Flamingos in it. The los Tuneles Snorkling Tour at day 2 was amazing. The Guide was fantastic and shows us a lot. Special service without a fee were the underwater pictures. Great! Day 3 - Transfer from Isabella to Santa Cruz was horrible. The boat was overcrowded and we get totally wet. 2,5 hours terrible boat trip. Charles Darwin Tour was fantastic and the guide Caesar amazing. He knows so much about Galapagos, because he is a native, and taught us a lot. Great guy! Boots Tour in the afternoon was a cheekiness. The guide was unfriendly and lazy. He only said „Get out your Cell Phones and make a Foto“. No explanations, nothing. Lot‘s of senseless waiting, because he didn't have the group under control. We would recommend not to book him again. Day 4 Pinzon Fishing Tour made us speechless. Best finish on this trip. The guide was amazing as well as the boat crew. Day 5 Transfers to the airport were perfectly arranged. Also to note: Would be helpful to ask about food allergies at the beginning of the trip!Show moreTrip date: October 2023
- Susan· March 8th, 2023We had a wonderful time in the Galapagos! The snorkeling and hiking were amazing. The people were very nice and everyone tried to be helpful. Unfortunately the organization of the tour wasn’t great - no one greeted us at the airport when we arrived (once we called someone came ) . And even though I sent my air travel way in advance I was told conflicting info about when we needed to return to the airport — so I had to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what to do on the least two days of our trip. Since there is virtually no internet on Isabela that was stressful.Show moreTrip date: February 2023
- Meri· May 18th, 2022Action-packed tour that covers a a lot of must-see spots in the Galapagos in a short time! Two nights on Isabela, two nights on Santa Cruz and three snorkeling adventures offered a great overview of the islands and the diverse nature and wildlife. A few details needed some work (was placed in a different hotel than what was on my itinerary, and then moved)-- but overall a good value for all the services provided and always in good hands with guides available at every step.Show moreRebecca Adventure Travel commented on this reviewDear Meri, Thank you for your comments and suggestions, we really appreciate it and help us to improve our services. - MMoatafaNosseir· April 3rd, 2018Based on my experience I don't recommend this agency for Galapagos. The reasons are: 1) I selected this agency from the internet and requested 5 days detailed itinerary. Two days later I was contacted by Adriana requesting the dates of my arrival an departure which I did reply on same email. The following day I received an email from Karina informing that my email went to her at OnRoad which is the platform Rebecca used for financial issues and that she forwarded my message to Adriana. On the following day Adriana wrote asking same e question which was provided. 2) As I didn't receive any program I wrote again . This time I received a message from Maria then from Micheal saying that he will be my contact.many names and no final itinerary until I complained. 3) The 5 days program came with missing information about the pick up time for the snorkeling tour to Santa Fe , wrong pickup time at Isabela island and mistake of my final departure day. 4) I was informed by Micheal that I will be met at Baltar's airport upon my arrival by Rebecca's representative. Instead I was met by a young friendly man ( Diego)with no credentials nor identification that he represent Rebecca or any local trave agency. He provided transportation from Beltar to Santa Cruz. He has limited knowledge of the island administrative setup and supervision. I fact Diego informed me that he is working as a waiter in a local restaurant. 5) On the following day Diego picked me up from the hotel to the pier in order to travel to Isabela Island. he had no ticket or any document showing that I can travel to the expected destination. My name was not listed in any speed boat leaving to the island. It was not until a lady came at last minute with a list. 6) On arrival to Isabela Island I was met by Dany who had no identification nor credential indicating that he represents and agency. He left me at the hotel with a promise that he will pick me up for a lunch at noon then for snorkeling an hour later. He was late for one hour and I didn't have any contact for him. At the end of the afternoon I realized that Day is running his own restaurant. 7) My departure was scheduled for the afternoon boat the following day. I was picked up by other person , again with no identification, to the Pier. At the Pier I discovered that my name was not registered on any departing boat. As I had no ticket I had no way to prove that i am suppose to be a passenger. It was very embarrassing and tense period. The person who picked me up from the hotel called a lady who came and tried to solve the problem with no success as all the boats were full.It ended up by practically smuggling me to one of the boats without a ticket or identification not even my name listed as a passenger. 8) When I arrived to Sata Cruz I contacted Recbecca by WhatsApp which was the only reference I had as I was not provided by any other contact on the Island. The replay came saying that the case will be investigated. The time the message was not singed by any one. 9) The following day i was informed by the hotel that someone by name Maria Fernanda will come to see me in the afternoon of that last day. At this stage it became clear that Rececca , in fact , has no presence on the Galapagos. 10) At the evening Maria Fernanda met me at the hotel. She was Waring a button with Rebecca's name on her shirt. She apologized blaming the confusion on her contact on Isabela island. talking to Maria Fernanda I was informed that she represents an agency Called Mi Gosto de Galapagos which takes care of Rebecca's tours on the island . This local agency has no presence in the streets of Santa Cruz or any other Island as Maria Fernanda works from Home. 11) In summary my 5 days trip to Galapagos was consisted of transport from airport to hotel on the arrival day and the opposite on the departure day. These were considered by Rebecca as two days of the 5 days tour. It included 2 snorkeling tours which were the only activities as the remaining time was free. In addition 3 nights were booked in hotels at both islands . Based on the above I don't recommend Rebecca as reliable tour agency for Galapagos unless they revised their acts ad setup. - Willem· January 15th, 2018Altough I travel single, there was always a nice group of people. The guides were really excellent, they knew a lot about the wildlife on the Galapagos Islands. I could find good restaurants on Isabella Island and on St Cruz. Everything was arranged well, from the pickup at the airport, tours, hotels and transport. Nice was also that a member of Rebecca's team from Quito called me the second day to aks if everything was ok, very nice.Show moreTrip date: November 2017
