Lisa· September 5th, 2024Fabulous tour, the guide Leonora was excellent, so knowledgeable about the region in general and right down to the intricate details of the towns, war monuments and chateaux we visited. Accommodation was comfortable. Our driver Priscilla was so professional, and talented at getting a full size coach through the winding narrow laneways of many old villages.Show more

The Chateaux’s were definitely my favourite part of the trip plus of course Mont-Saint-Michel! Leila our guide scores an 11/10. She was really what made the trip so special. Her diligence in keeping us to a fairly strict timetable was worth it so we didn’t miss our scheduled sightseeing. Truly a great trip to see the the Normandy beaches and explore some spectacular sights of France’s history. I couldn’t finish the review without a shout out to our driver “Brian”. - Paul· September 24th, 2023The good: the tour guide was good. Choice of places to visit were great. The bad: days were too long. Up at 6.30. Depart at 7.45 arrive at hotel 20 or 20.30. Almost too tired to go to dinner. The ugly: everything was said in English but then also Spanish.This is draining. Surely English was OK for everyone? The real ugly: there were a few people coughing and clearly not well. But they were not made to wear masks. Everything went smoothly and according to the itinerary, thanks to Leila (sounds like Layla) who was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, fun and friendly. All around a great tour guide. Thanks to her, everything went like clockwork, including getting a bus full of people into our hotel rooms in about 60 seconds. She also knew all of our names and fostered a friendly atmosphere among the group. We saw a lot in 3 days. The hotels and meals were also good. - SSsamuel· June 5th, 2023Great tour. Extremely knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide (Layla). Kept everyone on schedule and filled us in on historical facts along the way. The days were long, but no time wasted. The length of the stops and unsupervised time was appropriate. The towns we visited gave us a much fuller perspective of France than does Paris alone. Layla fixed a reservation miscue at our first hotel very efficiently. My only (tiny) complaint was that the dinner at Caen was pretty mediocre.
