Mary· May 19th, 2022I really felt that this tour opened up almost the whole of Spain for me. We travelled from the middle to the south and then to the north and I was literally gobsmacked by the beauty of this country whether in the strikingly beautiful cities or the countryside…majestic mountains, unending olive orchards, vineyards and citrus trees…we passed through on our train and bus or private vehicle rides. Our CEO was fantastic and very supportive of everyone's needs, including one person who unfortunately fractured her ankle on the first day. On this tour, I saw so much of Spain and learned so much about the history and culture that my expectations were far surpassed. The Northern Spain portion was nice but I found the Bilboa stay too long and would have preferred to stay in San Sebastien instead and simply done a day trip to Bilbao. Unfortunately we missed out on the San Sebastien day trip due to a COVID case in our tour group (our guide) and all of us needed to be tested…2 other travellers were also positive and 2 more tested positive in the following days.
