- IUIan· March 6th, 2023I cannot imagine a better trekking experience than what Nepal Hiking Team delivered. Professional, very well-organized, extremely considerate - expect these qualities to characterize all of your interactions with NHT. When planning your trek, NHT offers an illuminating, very accurate description of what awaits you. In the weeks/months before my trek Ganga answered any and all of my questions about the trek. The airport pick up/drop offs were perfect - much appreciated (as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz said…”Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore!”) The accommodations arranged in Kathmandu (Woodapple Hotel and Spa) were first-rate. Ganga met me at the hotel, went over the trek details with me, and gave me the extra equipment that the Team would carry for me (with many thanks - backpack, down sleeping bag, down jacket). That I was in very good hands was confirmed by Surya - my guide. In Nepali, Surya means sun - and I couldn’t have asked for better light on my trek. Surya was simply superb. He was always concerned about my well-being and enjoyment. He was well “tuned in” to my capabilities and ensured that our pace was one that I could handle. His concern for my well-being was equalled by the knowledge of his mountains that he shared on our trip. The accommodations during the trek were good - much, much more comfortable than all my previous backpacking with tent experiences at home. It was so nice to stretch out in a guest house after a day on the trail with a tea and soak in the setting. If my future gives me more years of good health I hope to come back for another trek with the Nepal Hiking Team. It was a privilege to trek with them and to write this review. I’m sure you will agree after letting them make your visit to this special place a wonderful one.Show moreTrip date: February 2023
- Adam· October 29th, 2022The trip the Nepal hikihh team was amazing. Very highly reccommended for anyone after a shorter track. The guide (Rabin) and porter were fantastic and really looked after me. They went above and beyond and added so much to the success of the trip. The walk was beautiful and quite varied. Everything worked and and was pretty seamless. No complaints whatsoeverShow moreTrip date: October 2022
- JZJinsong· May 26th, 2019I had an amazing time doing the Poon Hill Trek with the Nepal Hiking Team. The company is very experienced and well-organized. I felt instantly that i was in safe hand when i got picked up from the airport. Balaram provided detailed information and trek itinerary on day 1. I was traveling solo and my guide was very caring throughout, looking after me and adjusting to the pace that suited me. The scenery at Pool Hill was a treat, and the cabins Nepal Hiking Team picked were also great. I have roof-top breakfast with wonderful snow Mountain views and i could have stayed there for a month. All things considered, it was a truly wonderful experience, Nepalese people are very friendly. Ganga, Balaram and their team are exemplary of that. Highly recommend this company for your Nepal adventure.Show moreNepal Hiking Team commented on this reviewDear Jinsong, Thank you for your wonderful review. - Emily· September 5th, 2018Draped along the spine of the Himalayas, Nepal is a land of sublime scenery, time-worn temples and some of the best hiking trails on the planet. Although it is a poor country, Nepal is rich in scenic splendor and artistic treasures – a wondrous crossroads of religions, cultures and geography. Hinduism holds sway throughout the country’s south while Buddhism flows across the northern border from the Tibetan Plateau. Both great faiths beautifully fuse ancient animist beliefs and shaman rituals, forming a rich and varied cultural treasure-house. The kingdom has long exerted a pull on the Western imagination; it's the kind of country that lingers in your dreams long after you leave it. This is why so many travelers are drawn back to Nepal, armed the second time around with a greater appreciation of its natural and cultural complexity, a stout pair of walking boots and a desire for sculpted calf muscles! Nepal Hiking Team helped us orchestrate our adventure, and they were spot on with everything. A wonderful company you can trust. Right from the very beginning, the correspondence sealed the deal with Mr. Ganga's fast and swift replies to queries. Then as we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by Mr. Ganga himself, along with our guide- Prakash . The Annapurna Panorama Trek truly does capture the natural and cultural essence of the region, and with Prakash's insight and his vast knowledge about the culture, the people and the temples- the trip was an enlightening experience. Overall, it was one of the most beautiful and amazing treks, largely due to the hard work and dedication of the agency and the clear passion they show in their work. It is a company that goes above and beyond with their services and show true care.Show moreTrip date: September 2018
