- JPJulie C· July 11th, 2023This was a lovely walk and Rodrigo was very responsive and helpful, however there were some issues. - I didn’t really understand that there would be NO group organization/interaction. I know it was self guided, but I thought there would be some sort of introduction to others. - there was no map provided to exit Santiago itself. I did find the route but only by searching on google. And then it’s marked from there on. - when I got to my first stay in Negriera I couldn’t find anyone and then realized I was fair way from town to get food. The lady kindly opened the restaurant and fed me, but I was very tired and confused. She also didn’t speak any English - or French as I speak French too. - personally I think the 32km leg is a bit long. I took a taxi for half. - the guy who drove the luggage didn’t speak English or French either so communication was difficult. - I was charged extra for my bags. This is not stipulated in the original documentation. Rodrigo was going to charge me €80 extra which he then reduced to €40. I am travelling in Europe for a month and so I have packed for that time - not just the walk. I did enjoy the walk, but I found it a bit confusing overall. Also my fault for not really understanding the Camiño. I do now.Show moreUncommon Tours commented on this reviewHi Julie Thanks for your comments regarding the instructions, we will check and, if necessary, add any further information to make them clearer.
