We had a fab time on safari, seeing the big 5 and the ugly 5. All the drivers, camp owners etc were really friendly and welcoming. I loved the group I was with too. The only thing to be aware of is that this is essentially one mega trip with the option to join at different points. This means that you will likely be joining a group who already know one another very well. It did not matter so much for my group as we were roughly half old and half new but personally I'd not have wanted to join if I was the only newbie or there were only a couple of us.
