Our guide Javiar was superb. Took great care of us. Food was also very good. The itinerary was well planned and went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Intrepid Tours.

The tour leader was absolutely fantastic -very knowledgeable, caring, supportive and reliable (great in an emergency situation). My brother is severely allergic to milk and eggs, and Pam helped us out a lot with that. He had a reaction on Puerto Natales and Pam went above and beyond to help is out there, helping us get to the hospital, communicating with the staff, staying up til 2am to make sure we were okay and got home safe and then facilitating,at the last minute, us re-joining the tour group. She did a fantastic job and we couldn't have asked for more. This was our first trip away from home without our parents and we were terrified travelling with my brother's allergies, but Pam made us feel very safe. We can't thank her enough. She's also a great jovial personality and great on the ukelele!

Pamela our tour guide was so organised and has such a warm welcoming personality. It was my first time travelling alone and I felt completely at ease and looked after. Patagonia itself exceeded my expectations (it is SO beautiful) and I felt proud of myself since the treks were physically challenging and I was able to do them supported by Pam and the other very professional and knowledgeable tour guides

The trip ran very smoothly, camping facilities for part of the trip were very good, already set up on arrival. Patagonia is beautiful, amazing scenery and fantastic tour leader (Pamela Perez) and other staff.

What our customers ask about this tour

The content in our FAQ section is subject to change.
  • What are the guidelines for luggages on this tour?

Thank you for your question. Most travellers carry their luggage in a backpack, although a small to medium suitcase with wheels is ok too. Whatever you take, be mindful that you will need to be able to carry your own luggage, handle it at airports, take in/out of accommodation and perhaps even short walking distances (max 30 minutes).

In terms of weight, keep in mind that if you are flying domestically (either on this itinerary or during your personal time) airlines generally allow a maximum of 20kg for check in luggage. Argentina is particularly strict on excess baggage and usually enforces a maximum allowance of 15Kg for check in luggage.

Can’t find the answer to your question?
Reach out to the experts at Intrepid Travel with your enquiry, they usually respond within 8 hours.
