  Pros: SUPERB guide/driver Geoff Homma took us to see incredible places. 5 stars for Geoff, I truly hope he gets paid handsomely since the group of 22 gave the company Autopia Tours over $40 000 AUD over 6/7 days when the company only spends about $80-$200 AUD daily per person. Cons: Price was far too high for shabby accommodation and small portion participation camping meals prepared/cleaned by guests/guide eaten outside or on the side of the road with the elements/bugs on a set menu that cannot be changed. Bus was decent but cramped with little leg room and no window shades or upper storage. Due to the marketing, the group will always consist of elderly guests who require more time/help, causing delays. Very little time spent at each destination. Extra activities are extremely expensive. Go see the whale sharks for cheap/free in the warm waters of the Philippines or Maldives at your leisure instead of spending $600-$700 AUD

  A trip of a lifetime! As a solo female traveller in my 50s I was nervous about joining a tour (I'd not done anything like this before), but I needn't have worried. The tour, and the whole experience, far exceeded my expectations. A great itinerary - we saw and did some amazing things - though given how much time was spent on the minibus, it would have been nice if that had been a bit more spacious and comfortable. Our tour guide, Geoff, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind and caring, and went over and above to make sure everyone had an great time. He really added to this trip! The communication in the run up to the start of the tour was a bit lacking. Once I was fully paid-up for the tour, the correspondence seemed to stop. I would have appreciated some confirmation of all the pick up details, timings, etc, in the days before we left. That would have been reassuring.

  Good: We had a small group which was enjoyable and made it easier to spread out in the bus. Bad: The bus seats were very small and uncomfortable and very little room to store a day pack. Good: We visited some interesting places and had access to great optional tours. Bad: Our visit to Kalbarri NP was too rushed, particularly as we had spare time due to the abseiling being cancelled. Good: Erin was knowledgeable about places we visited. Good: The food was simple and sufficient. Bad: Gluten free was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast in particular. It wasn't until the tour ended that I was aware there was gluten free cereal supplied. It was never on display at breakfast time. There also needed to be fruit supplied at breakfast.

  The tour is really great !! Although we need to spend most of the day in the bus but we enjoyed to see beautiful scenery and chatting with people or story from tour guide. So not only the spot we stopped but also spending time with others we enjoyed. Of course, the all the spot we stopped were amazing😊

  Einmal mehr fand ich die heterogene Gruppe (Alter und Nationalitäten) sehr bereichernd. Danny hat als Driver Guide so viel geleistet und war dabei immer gut gelaunt und freundlich. Die Reise führt an schöne Orte, ist aber auch anstrengend, weil man sehr viel Zeit im Bus verbringt. Der Bus selbst, war besser als erwartet, wenngleich die Sitze nicht besonders bequem waren. Die ersten beiden Unterkünfte waren sehr gut, das Ningaloo Coral Bay Resort & Backpackers leider wirklich dreckig (Küche absolut unappetitlich) und die Zimmer Exmouth ebenfalls sehr "basic", aber zumindest sauber.

  A great tour with an excellent driver/guide, Carlos, full of information, well organized and sensitive to our needs. Lots of wonderful places to see and experience from sunrise to sunset. Long bus rides at times and a full bus so little room to stretch out. But worth traveling the distances. Highly recommend the one way tour and fly out from Exmouth

  - geoff was an excellent tour guide, very informative, kind, and a great laugh! - unfortunately missed out on a few things due to weather / road accidents but these were made up for in other sites and activities - i made 2 friends for life, so had an absolutely great time with lots of laughs - bus was clean and a nice drive - would definitely use autopia for tours again! and would definitely recommend visiting Western Australia, most amazing place i’ve ever been!

  I had a wonderful time with fantastic people! Saw mostly everything we could up the coast, meals were good, accomodations (shared room option for me) were reasonable. The bus was comfortable, however I'm a small person & activities on offer were enjoyable. Massive shout-out to our Awesome Tour Guide Rhett, who was asked to fill in for the usual guy. It was Rhett's first Perth to Exmouth tour after driving 6 days from Gold Coast to Perth to then drive 23 people up to Exmouth, giving us really interesting information, and managing to entertain also. Not to mention the brilliant driving! To make it even more difficult for Rhett, we all had different iteneries (from booking through different companies) & some changes were made, so we wouldn't miss any of the highlights. All round, I would recommend this trip for people traveling on their own, that don't want to do the drive themselves. It does work out cheaper for us solo traveling.

  This tour was by far the most satisfying one I have been on. The other tourists were friendly, the activities were full on and exciting, and our tour guide,Geoff, was attentive to all our needs. I would not only recommend this tour to my friends but would encourage them to take it.
