I specifically booked with a Canadian company and was happy to see that they advertise as "hassle free" and "exceptional travel experience." My complaint is with the hotel that Wingbuddy booked me in. I paid a premium for an upgraded hotel. Imagine my dismay when my stay at this hotel included daily construction outside my room Monday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00. This was a a full scale construction area-jack hammers and all. When I asked hotel staff to change rooms I was told no other room was available as the hotel was fully booked. Staff at the hotel said that Wingbuddy was fully aware of this as other guests had complained and construction had started July 2024. I cannot understand why the company did not reach out to me and ask if I still wanted the upgrade, and or offer another hotel. When I reached out to Wingbuddy they apologized, said they were not aware of the construction and refused to offer any compensation. The front desk gal made fresh croissants and coffee for an early flight which was very much appreciated. The tours were great and easy instructions to follow.
