Tembe Elephant Park is special place and was my highlight, but the whole trip was brilliant.

The close encounter with an elephant I also got a real buzz on the boat trip to watch the whales, however the sea was unusually rough and my adrenaline rush was not shared by many of the group You would need to be strong to hold on.I think advice to wear waterproofs and shoes that you don't mind getting wet would be helpful. I think it was unusual though and the subsequent trips were cancelled that day

Accommodation was generally good throughout the trip and the alternative lodge in St Lucia was nice and it benefitted in spending an additional night there instead of Durban. Enjoyed the trip throughout. (apart from item 4 below)

Being able to get close up to the animals was amazing and something I'll not forget. Even just driving around seeing the scenery was really enjoyable.

Tour would be much better if it was spit in two or made a three weeker or at worst a 16 day tour to include both weekends definately not enough time in places visited

Thanks for your comments regarding the duration of the trip. With so much to see in this area of South Africa it is difficult to chose where we go whilst still having enough time. We will pass your comments on to the product manager to review though.

A very memorable trip thanks to our two outstanding tour leaders. Would have preferred like many to have spent an extra night at Stone Camp or Tembe, and missed out a couple of the other hotels. Kosi Bay for us was a welcome chance to relax a little, and the optional boat trip was very worthwhile for the fun we had and chance to see a variety of birds. I much preferred the smaller reserves, as Kruger was a disappointment, so this is what made this tour unique and special to those run by other companies. It was pretty busy at times but would highly recommend.
