- Krystina· April 22nd, 2022While not for the faint of heart, the trek to Everest Base Camp was a gorgeous adventure. You start out "low" in the hills and make your way up to the big mountains. It was such a unique trail experience. The trail varied from dirt paths to more defined trails that had stones. Lots of ups and downs the entire way, so don't think the way back down is just down. The tea houses we stayed in were always quite nice to compared to reviews I saw others make about the tea houses when researching before my trip. I loved being surrounded by all the beautiful mountains, everywhere you looked. The yoga we did most mornings and evenings wasn't your typical yoga that you'd find in a gym or yoga studio in America. This was more of a stretching and warming your body up sort of yoga. It was good for sore muscles and a tired mind. We taught our guides how to play the card game UNO and we spent most nights playing that. We had a blast and often pulled in some other guides to join us (I'm pretty sure one kept staying in the same tea house as our group just so he could join our UNO nights). At the end of the trip I found out I had caught Covid along the way and Dipak helped make sure I was fine and able to get back home eventually. He checked in with me daily until I was able to leave and took care of everything with the hotel so all I had to do at the end was pay him for my additional days in the city, and didn't have to deal with the hassle of dealing with the hotel. If you're looking for someone who will make sure you're okay for the entirety of your trip in Nepal, you can't go wrong with Trekking Planner.Show moreTrekking Planner Pvt. It's amazing how the landscape transitions from the lower hills to the towering peaks, offering such a diverse and rewarding experience. And those tea houses sound like a cozy haven...
