The bikes were delivered to the door of our hotel on the first day with the guide (Vinh) and the trip was planned out for us with the locations that we picked, which included food drinks and accommodation. We hadn't done much off roading before but Vinh took us on lots of different trails, some were easy and others more challenging, we did river crossings, mountain passes and visited lots of remote villages. The four of us (middle aged riders) saw more of Northern Vietnam than we had hoped for. Home stay accommodation was excellent and we saw a wide range of the cuisine that the region has to offer. The roads and the riding experience was something else altogether, from the chaos of weaving through Hanoi traffic to narrow and quiet village tracks. Neither of us have spent much time on bikes before, but our guides (Hue and Huyen) were very understanding and helped us get comfortable on the bikes before going. They were awesome people and we had so much fun hanging out with them for 8 days! Most importantly, I truly feel like our safety and comfort was their top priority at all times, and they went above and beyond to guarantee that!l. The views in the north are absolutely breathtaking, plus the little cafes you stop for lunch at along the way offered great authentic food.
