- AAnonymous· September 10th, 2018Back in October of 2017 I did a section of the Annapurna Circuit (included Poon Hill) with a few friends of mine. Santosh Khatri was our guide -- we had an incredible time. Not only was Santosh well versed in trekking, he had great English and was extremely accommodating/professional. From keeping us well directed on our trek, he was a wealth of information on culture, food (what was safe and not safe for us to eat) and scheduling clean tea houses/hotels to stay overnight at. Prior to traveling Nepal, appreciate that bus rides can be a bit uncomfortable if traveling long distances (thus my 4/5 stars). Santosh made every effort to make things as comfortable for us along the way. By the end of the trip we had all become great friends with Santosh, and we still keep in touch today. If I ever go back (and I certainly will) I'll be seeking Santosh's services! Nepal is beautiful. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a trek with Santosh.Show more
