  Our Puglia tour was beyond all expectations! Gaetano was brilliant. The itinerary was amazing ... a wonderful mix of walking tours, fabulous experiences, and incredible sights. And the meals !!! So good! But best was Gaetano's consideration and thoughtfulness ....I will never forget this tour, and I recommend it to everyone.

  Gaetano was our guide for our visit to the Puglia region in southern Italy. We visited pretty coastal towns, and ancient cliff houses and stone huts. Gaetano was very familiar with the area, and did an excellent job of explaining the sights. He also gave us good recommendations for places to eat and shop. Our hotels were great! Phil had a foot problem that made it hard for him to climb many stairs. Gaetano found routes and alternative ways that let Phil see all the sights. Gaetano e buonissimo!

  Gaetano’s GOINITALY Puglia tour was such a joy. Gaetano is professional, personable and very knowledgeable about the area. He was accommodating for any special needs we might have. Each day was adventure filled with outstanding sights and interesting places—some off the beaten path. Lodging was great and the meals were all so very delicious. Gaetano also employed local guides in some of the areas for more in-depth information. I felt in good hands with Gaetano’s driving and would not hesitate to go on another GOINITALY tour.

  This tour was “perfetto!” Gaetano is an excellent, knowledgeable, considerate and helpful guide….It is obvious that he loves his career and truly enjoys showing his guests the beautiful countryside and cities of Puglia! Many delightful meals were included at a variety of venues: vineyards, ristorantes, both casual and fine dining, with wine pairings that enhanced our lunches and dinners. The beautiful cities, towns, ancient sites and buildings, along with the countryside and seaside views will remain with us always!

  Loved this engaging guided walking tour of Puglia! Our guide Gaetano was fantastic! He was so considerate to the needs of everyone in our group of 8. Gaetano was flexible and would add and/or slightly change or adjust plans to suit our desires. His itinerary is well thought out to insure a nice balance of discovering beautiful historical and geographically interesting sites, as well as meeting locals with small businesses like vineyards, olive oil and burrata cheese producers. The various accommodations were quite lovely and very comfortable. The meals were absolutely delicious and ranged from local farm to table options to gourmet fine dining meals with wine parings!! I highly recommend this tour!!!

  Gaetone is a wonderful tour guide who performs an excellent job with respect to all aspects of the tour. He is a warm caring individual who makes everyone feel like family immediately. While in Alberobello on short notice, he arranged to have a medical doctor come to our Trulli house in the evening to examine my wife's tendinitis foot condition so that we could continue the tour. He is truly a nice person to befriend.

  The best tour director and guide ever. Gaetano created a terrific personalised itinerary for my time in Puglia and Campania that showed professionalism, knowledge and flexibility. Seeing the area through Gaetano's eyes was a privilege. He created a picture that resonated and will be remembered with a skill to not overwhelm with facts and figures....he knew exactly when to let the landscape and history tell their own stories. The itinerary was very well balanced to give a real feel for the essence of the area. Accommodation, food and transportation was excellent and the attention to detail and care taken throughout the tour was exceptional. I totally recommend Go In Italy if you want to visit southern Italy

  Gaetano Barone is a fantastic tour guide! Our trip to Puglia was our sixth time in Italy and our best. Gaetano was considerate, informative and friendly. Every day was fabulous, with Gaetano's local knowledge we enjoyed visiting amazing places which I am sure are out of the way for the bigger tour groups. We both absolutely had the best time and would recommend without reservation.

  This was the best tour I have ever done. Everything about it was top notch and Puglia is amazing. Gaetano had so much knowledge to share and was highly organised. His focus was his clients and he made it very special for me. Can't fault it!
