    Great tour. Lots of driving for the first three days but the long driving hours are interspersed with several stops. The tour gives a very good overview of historical Thailand in 5-6 days, including some of the most important temples and landmarks in Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Mai. The tour guide was informative, knowledgeable and always made sure to find good restaurants on the road. She was also very flexible and helped us organize extra activities, such as an elephant visit and a Kantoke evening in Chiang Mai.

    Our tour guide and driver were focused on our every need and took great care of us. Our driver was careful and safe. Our tour guide spoke perfect English and German and was a treasure trove of historical knowledge. The temples we visited and the ruins were all spectacular mixed with some river tours and other cultural activities. The hotels were good some great. Food amazing. I am a senior and had a spectacular experience. I highly recommend.

    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 1st, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 1st, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Royal Silk Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Royal Silk Holidays will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Royal Silk Holidays" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
