It was quite surreal to be driving around the Serengeti and see animals that my brain knew were wild but struggled to comprehend that fact!!! This trip was a.long time coming, taking quite a few years to save for and then a couple more covid years of delay but it was worth every penny and every minute waiting. The organizing of the tour was strange, with arriving in Nairobi, one day trip to Arusha (with border crossing) and after the Serengeti, one day off, basically nothing to do. We had to find something to do and luckily we had a good day. So in total, almost three days without activity. Michael and Shafi and the drivers had put a lot of passion in what they did and this helped a lot.
