Bernie· October 18th, 2024Every aspect of this tour was great seamless transfers to and from Delhi Airport, accommodation, driver in comfortable vehicle, and the most magnificent sites and knowledgeable guides is highly recommended for first-time travellers to India. My recommendation is to make the most of the experience eating only Indian food (plenty of safe places with magnificent food) and absorbing the sights sounds and smells of India. And take and share lots of photos. Family and friends will love them and want to come as well. The highlight: the Taj Mahal really is a wonder of the world. Absolutely magnificent.Show more

The tour guides are very knowledgeable and provided the right amount of information needed to fulfill the information I needed to learn about the different sites, and the history behind the places and people who lived during those eras. Location of the first hotel was not centrally located where I could walk to convenience stores, and also had issues with connecting my laptop. This tour provided a great introductory overview of some wonderful UNESCO World Heritage sites in India. The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, Humayan's Tomb, Qutub Minar and Red Fort in Delhi and Jaipur and the Jantar Mantar. Tour bus was very clean and comfortable with an excellent driver. Following a warm welcome at the airport, tour guide Suru remained with the group until the end of the tour. His wealth of knowledge about India was greatly appreciated as was his attention to ensuring that everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. Our inital hotel, The Goodwill Hotel, was sub standard and became unsafe during my second night there, resulting in prompt action from Amit at HolidaysAt to move our group to another hotel. All other hotel accomodation was clean and comfortable for remainder of tour. A reminder to prospective international guests. Price of this tour does not include entry into most of historical sites. It was suggested by our group that perhaps an approximate cost of each of the entrance fees could be included in the itinerary to allow for budgeting for tour.
