marcelabbd· October 26th, 2019I travelled alone in the 2nd week of October. Weather was pretty good (only showers in the evening) and sunrises in Poon Hill and Tadapani just amazing. It wasn't as cold as expected and could do without a sleeping bag. The trek is great to get a taste of Nepal beyond the cities, offers lots of opportunities for protography, and can be done even by people with no head for heights (you don't have to be "schwindelfrei"). Deepak -my guide- was incredibly helpful, adjusting to my pace while keeping the tempo, helping all the time and even looking for "Shiva trees" to shoot. Thank you very much! Our guide and porter were both lovely, knowledgeable, caring and provided us with great company. We were incredibly well looked after and didn’t have to worry about anything. I really enjoyed hearing about Nepali culture, mountaineering and the different mountains along the walk. The trek is a great opportunity to see amazing views and challenge yourself and it was great have icicles organise everything on our behalf. - LLisaParker· December 11th, 2018I had heard a lot of bad press about safety for women in Nepal, however, I felt very safe in Kathmandu and very well looked after by Icicles Adventure. I would be more than happy to recommend you to other female travellers! Please feel free to pass on my email address. I did the Annapurna Circuit trek with Icicles Adventure staff‐Kamala and Tirtha Nov/Dec 2015. As a female solo trekker, I was a bit worried about personal safety originally. With back and forth emails with Indira , I could feel their reliability and so decided to join the Annapurna trek. I had a good time all the way through Annapurna Circuit Trek. The team is very professional in their conduct; I enjoyed the trekking days with Kamala and Tirtha as well as some time just day‐dreaming on my own. 16‐day trek just passed so fast and I am now safely back to my home town with a piece of unique memory.Show moreTrip date: April 2014

I send my enquiries to few leading trekking companies in Nepal that looked genuine to me and I was quite impressed with Icicles Team as I got quick reply from Indira on my query within few hours. She informed me that Icicles was organizing a fixed departure group ready to embark in and this was exactly what I was looking for. I needed to make this happen in my holidays and date was perfect fit for me. Basically, I love to make new friends at new place with new experiences. And Icicles Team specially our trekking leader Shiva did a great job exceeding our expectations. He had in-depth knowledge about trekking trails, Himalayas and cultural insight stories. He kept our group together. Sometimes he cracks a joke and with his sense of humor it just made us forget all the stress and tiredness.
