      Carry-on luggage is restricted to one piece per person, with specific size limits to fit under your seat or in the small overhead compartment. Bags with telescopic handles and wheels might not fit due to these restrictions.

    • Are there optional experiences available on the tour?

      Various optional experiences are available for addition to your journey, such as Animal Night Spotting and Tasmanian Devil Entry tours. Availability and prices of these experiences may vary, and will be communicated by the travel director during the tour.

    • What are the requirements for entering Australia?

      Visas are required for entry into Australia. Travelers need to ensure their visas are arranged prior to departure.

    • What kind of support is available for medical equipment during the tour?

      For medical equipment like CPAP machines, bringing a converter, adapter, and extension cord is recommended as outlets may not be near the bed. Refrigeration for medication may require a travel cooler and ice packs.

    • How can I ensure my medical equipment can be accommodated?

      Guests should communicate with the Travel Director upon arrival about specific needs such as locations for buying distilled water for a CPAP machine or storing medications requiring refrigeration.

    • What is the distance between different destinations on the tour?

      The driving distances are as follows: Hobart to Strahan approximately 5 hours, Strahan to Burnie approximately 4 hours, Burnie to Launceston approximately 2 hours, Launceston to Bicheno approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes, Bicheno to Freycinet to Hobart approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, and Hobart to Port Arthur and back approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. These times are approximate and subject to change.

      • Yellow fever - Certificate of vaccination required if arriving from an infected area for Australia. Ideally 10 days before travel.
      • Japanese B encephalitis - Recommended for Australia. Ideally 1 month before travel.
    • Visa
      • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
      • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
    • Payment information
      • For any tour departing before February 2nd, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 2nd, 2025, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with AAT Kings. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
      • Some departure dates and prices may vary and AAT Kings will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
      • The following cards are accepted for "AAT Kings" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
