View in English6 days of unforgettable climbing Kilimanjaro Machame Kilimanjarom Economy Safari provided us with an experience of a lifetime and good value for money. Julian helped and advised us when and which route might be ideal for our trek. The guide and the whole mountain team are exceptional! - Jesse· August 8th, 2022Great organization and great service from Kilimanjaro Economy Safari I booked this KILIMANJARO TOUR last minute during a very busy period as the situation presented itself. Issa was very kind and helpful - fast & informative email exchange, all questions answered and doing some thinking for you. I love this kind of customer service :-) He was a major factor in booking with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari. Good decision, the trek was excellent, very well organized and the mountain crew & food surpassed expectations. I was also happy with the staff and our guide Joseph throughout.Show moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you for great feedback about our service. here is hoping that you can spread it all over the World. - SSelmaPersson· January 5th, 2021We could finally travel and went Kilimanjaro climbing this Christmas for the second time. Edward had organized every aspect of the climb very well. We went on the Machame route with Maxwell as the chief guide assisted by Masawe, eight porters and one chef. The climb actual was great and we enjoyed every bit of it with the crew. They took very good care of us and we always felt that we were in good hands. Our tent was warm and clean and food excellent. Our chef did a very remarkable job of preparing fantastic breakfast/lunch and dinner. It was tough but we made it to the summit and I will never forget Kili Economy for the great treat.Show moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you for great feedback about our service. - MMaral· March 5th, 2020My husband and I booked the Kilimanjaro Machame route trekking with Kilimanjaro Economy Safari and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Edward the director did extremely well organizing all the logistics and assigning wonderful crew of experienced mountain guides, porters and cook who supported our climb to the roof of Africa. We also did a 3 day lodge safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Materuni waterfalls after the trek. The game drives were amazing and really enjoyed the whole Tanzania experience.Show moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThanks our Friend for great feedback about our service. - GKGilda· March 4th, 2020Hello, I am Gilda Kitt and was happy with the tour guides and the entire team. They were all so cheerful and always ready to help. My only uneventful incident is that I did not make it to the summit, though I attempted and came back When I registered and had my age of 58, your tour company should have suggested that I take another route and did the 8 day trek instead of 6 days. We only got to know on the mountain that the 8 day trek was most suitable and less strenuous. For the future you should advice your clients and then its up to to them to decide. It's important for any hiker to make it to the summit and was really shattered that I did not, though I tried. We all wud have done the 8 day tour had we known the 6 day route was more challenging. I am absolutely shattered that I did not make it to the summit but had to listen to William as he said I was slowing down and had to turn around. It's important to make sure that your clients are aware of what can be offered and that the chance of making it on the 6 days route was slim. Rest of the team too struggled to make it. Thanks youShow moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you Gilde for great feedback to us .we are happy for your advice too.please spread us all over the World. KINDLY regards. - AWAshley· February 24th, 2020Fantastic experience. William (our guide), Protus and Augustine (assistance guides) and the entire team from Kilimanjaro Economy Safari helped us every step of the way. They were kind, considerate and looked after our safety from start to finish. We hiked for 6days which was tough, but the motivation from the team pushed us through. I would highly recommend this team for your Kilimanjaro adventure. They will make it memorable.Show moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you our Friend for positive feedback about our service. We are hoping you can spread it around the World. - MMaribel· September 19th, 2019Kilimanjaro Economy Safari gave the 5 of us an incredible deal for the Kilimanjaro 6 day Machame route. I talked to Edward who was very helpful throughout the booking process. He took care of all the logistics involved in our climb. He facilitated for our climbing fees and permits, allocated an outstanding and highly experienced climbing team of porters, guides and cook, provided top notch camping equipment that withstood the harsh mountain weather and above all also took part in the climb as our chief guide. Getting the 5 of us to the summit was not by chance but as a combined effort, skills and personalized care ranging from advice, motivation, proper nourishment, health checks and logistical support to ferry all the supplies and equipment. We had a few challenges like fatigue, 2 cases of altitude sickness but Edward and his team was there for us and we could not believe it when we finally made it to Uhuru Peak. This is a wonderful company providing fantastic climbing services and I will not hesitate to recommend them!Show moreTrip date: September 2019
- PPaulsen· August 7th, 2019In June, my husband and I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. We used Kilimanjaro Economy Safaris for the trip. Teacher suggested that we use the Machame route. The service they provided was incredible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were amazed at the quick response of Teacher to emergencies and difficult situations. We were impressed. We finally got to Tanzania and were assigned two guides, Victor and Mushi. The guides were professional and they explained to us everything about Kilimanjaro and the route we were going to use. They were able to answer all the questions that we had. They were very friendly. Victor and Mushi introduced us to the rest of the crew which included porters and chefs. The chef cooked delicious meals every night, and the porters carried our luggage and equipment, and even our bags when we grew tired. During the climb, the guides constantly checked on our oxygen levels and heart rates. They did a more detailed health check every morning and every night. They took very good care of us and we felt in safe hands. The team was very motivational. They encouraged us to push ourselves to the limit to reach the summit. After 5 days, we reached the summit in the morning. I would not have made it to the summit without the constant encouragement of the team and my husband. We got to witness the sunrise from up the mountain at a point called the Stella Point. The sunrise was so magnificent that there were tears in my eyes. The view from the summit was incredible. Since the weather was very clear, we could see the Rift Valley, the Maasai Steppe, and the Amboseli National Park in Kenya. We were awestruck by the breath-taking views. The climb was unforgettable. I recommend Kilimanjaro Economy Safaris for an unforgettable trek.Show moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you for great feedback about our service. here is hoping that you can spread it all over the World. - MMagnus· July 13th, 2019We were a group of 4 university students from Helsinki who came to Tanzania for the Mt Kilimanjaro trek. My friend Maku had come across Kilimanjaro Economy and told us about the budget friendly costs and upon further investigation we decided to take a leap of faith and go with them. We were a little bit skeptic about traveling all the way from Finland without having met anyone from the company and it was a nice surprise when we found Teacher waiting for us at KIA when we landed and taken to Kili Cottages in Moshi for our first night in Tanzania Teacher organized our climb very well. He gave us a professional crew of experienced guides, strong porters and a wonderful cook. The tents and sleeping bags were in tiptop condition and we were warm even on the cold nights high up the mountain. The crew's support was instrumental in getting us to the summit safely and making our dream of conquering Kilimanjaro come true. I hope to come back sometime in the future for a Tanzania safari and will definitely go with Kilimanjaro Economy SafarisShow moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you for great feedback about our service. here is hoping that you can spread it all over the World. - JJanineFoster· May 22nd, 2019I love traveling around the world and was recently in Tanzania where I joined a group of 5 other climbers to the summit of Kilimanjaro. I got Teachers contact from a friend and spoke with him on Facebook Messenger to get details of groups that I could join. We agreed on the Machame Route because it fitted perfectly in my schedule. I arrived in KIA the night before our trek and was transferred to my hotel in Moshi. Teacher introduced me to Victor who was the chief guide for our expedition. This company plans well, everything is planned for ahead, number of hours to trek, where to rest, what gear to wear on different altitude levels and because Victor has been on many treks he knew the trail as the back of his hand. Explaining outstanding sights of rocks, trees, wildlife (monkeys mainly). We had our oxygen levels checked. The food was cooked fresh everyday and served hot! Getting to the summit was not easy for us but Victor and his team pressed right buttons, treated those came down with mountain sickness and we were the second team to reach the summit that day! I had taken Kilimanjaro off my bucket list! I personally did not see any difference between those of us who did budget package and those who had luxury packages because the equipment is similar, our guides were excellent. If I were to go back to Kilimanjaro I would still use Kilimanjaro Economy SafariShow moreKilimanjaro Economy Safari commented on this reviewThank you for great feedback about our service. here is hoping that you can spread it all over the World.
