Sondles· October 24th, 2024I had many great moment in this trip! I got to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Ba Vi and met nice local people. Ha Long Bay was stunning, and kayaking among the islands was definitely a trip highlight. The Mekong Delta really made an impression with the simple, authentic lifestyle of the locals. The cooking class in Hoi An was not only fun but also gave me a chance to learn about Vietnamese cuisine. The Jeep tour of Saigon by night was a highlight in my trip.Show more

We’ve always loved Asian food, and since we both adore pho, but it is the only Vietnamese dish we knew at the time, we decided to head to Vietnam together. We had heard so much praise about Vietnamese cuisine and couldn’t wait to try it ourselves, and Vietnam did not disappoint! Each region had something unique to offer, with different flavors and unique dishes. The cooking classes were a fun way to interact with locals and learn how to make traditional Vietnamese meals. I'm surprised with Vietnamese coffee. It's unlike any coffee I’ve had before, it's so much stronger and it had my hands trembling after just one cup! And there were so many kinds of coffee. I was shocked when I heard about salt coffee and egg coffee, their taste was so straight but so amazing! - Ian· April 24th, 2024We actually did this tour backwards, south to north and customised it a little. Initially we had some doubts about using a local agent, we shouldn't have been worried. From the moment we enquired via Tourradar their agent Long Pham opened a WhatsApp dialogue with me. He is knowledgeable, professional, accomodating and attentive. He was in contact at every step from initial enquiry to making sure we'd checked in for our return flight. The hotels booked were comfortable, clean and well located, each airport meet and return from hotel were private transfers, no multi drop bus rides, all tours booked (except Halong Bay) were private, just two of us, guide and driver, all tour guides used were personable, knowledgeable and flexible to our needs, don't think some of the bigger Western tour operators would have you spend an afternoon drinking rice whine in the home of a local farmer. There was a lot of downtime in the itinerary that we had to fill on our own. And booking our own excursions and transportation was much cheaper. After seeing the prices in the country for the activities we did, and the flights we took, this was not a very good deal. Been talking with other tourists, they had better hotels, better excursions for a cheaper price.
