We really enjoyed our trip to Turkey. The trip was pleasant and the tour guide Ozan really knew the history and the culture of the country. Although there were some annoying customers, the guide handled it with care. People of Turkey were great and we had many good friends during the trip. Recommending it.

I absolute loved the history of our Turkey tour But there is so much I was disappointed with the truck stop for lunch in between each place. Was tasteless food that all had the same price. On 7 day we stopped at a place for an hour then went to Virgin Mary for an hour. We could have gone to Virgin Mary for 2 hour and picked our food in a cafe not the same food every day. All I heard it is convenient but I’m sorry we should have choices where to eat as we are paying for our lunch meals. I feel instead of going to all the markets sale places carpet, jackets ect As it a historic tour why don’t you provide extra options available for your paying customers. I have read that you continue getting the same feed back maybe you should actually listen to people that are paying for your services. Can I please make a suggestion instead of the truck stops why don’t you stop at a town. Given people a choice to look around and have something to eat. The hotels was clean except one but the same thing at dinner time as its only buffet every day with the same thing. Day 7 hotel Bianca which wasn’t on the list of hotels we are staying at. the room stunk of mould and stale smoke. The carpet was wet. Went to office they said will have a look. We sat in reception but they didn’t go to look. I asked if we could change rooms as i was worried because of the dampness was told no we will fix it. That there is no vacant. Rooms. They had a spray bottle said will fix the wet carpet. I saw our tour guide and explained it to him. They spoke in own language then turned and said no vacant rooms they will fix it instead. We went out but when we got back the carpet was still wet and the room smells. This is a disgrace considering it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Why should I be expected to stay in the room.

Upon arrival we changed the itinerary, instead of doing the first full day in Istanbul, what we did was a small tour in the morning and we started the bus circuit, if we had known in advance we would have flown directly to Ankara, avoiding 24 hours practically without stopping to travel. On the other hand, the circuit itself is made to make you spend money. During the bus tour we stopped in 4 places where we were supposed to see local things and the reality was that they gave us a 5' talk and took us to the store to buy, buy and more buy. In addition, we did not like that during the tour they included dinners and breakfasts because the lunches practically force you to eat where they have arranged. We have been to 2 or 3 roadside restaurants with inflated prices for tourists. It would be much better to include lunches and leave dinner to the traveler's choice, in order to get to know the local gastronomy. Otherwise everything was fine, good hotels and a very friendly guide.

Without losing sight of the fact that Turkey is a fascinating country, the trip itself very disappointing: no small group: except for the first and last day, my group was 43 people. It also did not correspond exactly to what was contracted with reality: no stop at the salt lake, our guide told us that there was no optional balloon ride over Pamukkale (when I have all that in writing from TourRadar).... Anyway, one pays a plus to have some services that other tour operators don't offer and they cheat you. Nor can it be said that our guide Orhan gave us too many explanations about what we visited (about 5/8 minutes to reach the places and little more.). A very disappointing trip in terms of contracted services although, as I said at the beginning, Turkey is a country worth discovering.

Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. First bus driver was all over the road and seemed extremely tired. Second driver was excellent. Perhaps another day in the itinerary would break up the rushing around. I had no idea that we would be stopping for different sales pitches for rugs, leather goods and quartz. Some were enjoyable but this detracted from available time at the many sites. The lunch venues left a bit to be desired. The hotel at Cappadoccia was disgusting. Room was dirty. The food was abysmal and the set-up an d organisation hopeless. Balloon flight excellent. Unfortunately we contracted covid on the tour and suspect two people who sniffled their way through the 10 days to blame. Some back roads were very bumpy/rough and my sciatica returned.
