- DDora· October 5th, 2023Overall feeling was very good! Experienece was great! We enjoyed our time in Nepal and the different landscape and region. It was a shame that we spent so much time on the road due to the works on the roads. Aside that we had a great time in Chitwan with the rhino company 🙂Show moreHimalayan Sanctuary Adventure commented on this reviewDear Corinna. - EEsther· February 15th, 2022Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishQuiero recomendar a Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure, contratamos tour privado visitando kathmandu, Pokhara y Chitwan. Show moreHimalayan Sanctuary Adventure commented on this reviewHello & Namaste ! Thank you so much for your amazing review. - Pascal· September 3rd, 2019We are a couple and stayed in Nepal for roughly 7 weeks in total as we were volunteering in a school in Kathmandu. As we wanted to see something of the country itself as well we travelled for one week through Nepal with Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. It was very annoying that the company told and called us several times to ask us for a review on Tripadvisor and to add "five stars" to it. Nevertheless in the end we thought it might be helpful for other travelers to get some information and the tour is really worth an excellent five star rating. Katmandu: First of all: We did not include the Kathmandu-Start as we already stayed there for some time and visited some places there on our own. Pokhara: Is a little bit more touristic than Kathmandu. We stayed at the lakeside and liked it a lot. You will visit several highlights as the world peace stupa, the mountain museum and Sarangkot which are all a must see. Accommodation (***-hotel) was totally fine and we had a perfect view to the Himalaya when there were less clouds. Chitwan: We liked this place most in Nepal - absolutely astonishing and also quite clean in comparison to the other places. They really care about nature and garbage what was new for us in Nepal and we really liked that. Accommodation was really great (****-Hotel), had awesome included food, low prices for drinks and perfect/great tour-guides. The time spent there is unforgettable to us and we liked it a lot. Nagarkot: It is a quite long drive (almost 2 hours) to reach this place for some views of the mountains. We were unlucky and had no clear sight all the time we have been up there. Nevertheless it was quite peaceful for us and you are "outside the city" and we liked it up there. Accommodation was totally fine and the food was good and not very expensive. My wife also took a massage which was totally fine and price was quite low. The driver was just awesome and we had a great time with him. He did not speak that much to us but he fulfilled every wish at every time of the day that we had. We did not have any issues or problems on our way and could not have been served better. There are several nice places to see on your way and you might take some pictures out of the window. Nevertheless the roads are sometimes difficult and you need to be patient. Maybe one possibility we did not take but we would like to recommend: If you have two or three days more to spend on your tour we would think of taking a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. It is a short trip which should not be too expensive and you will arrive in the middle of the mountains on 3000m above sea level. That must be a real great experience of the mountainside in Nepal one can get. All in all we can really recommend to take a tour with Bishnu (CEO of Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure). He was always available for us and cared for our happiness almost every day by sending at least sending an SMS. He also met us before the trip started and explained everything to us. Further on he joined the driver when he came to pick us up and welcomed us to the tour. Everything went totally smooth and we did not have any issues. Great company, great tour – we will be back with them at our next trip to Nepal!Show moreHimalayan Sanctuary Adventure commented on this reviewNamaste from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure !!!
