  I would absolutely book another tour with this company. They were excellent to work with. Franklin was outstanding as our customer service rep. He contacted us several days before to introduce himself and verify out flight info. He met us at the airport with our ticket package and walked thru each day and what tickets we would need. Franklin contacted us the day before with all the next day tour info. He went out of his way to get a new tour after one of our got canceled due to landslides. The one day my wife was feeling well and we had to cancel that day’s tour, Franklin offered to get her any assistance she needed. We enjoyed the whole experience from to start to finish.

  I didn't have to go far before Franklin met me at baggage claim upon arrival. Since I took Spanish we spoke bilingually. Throughout the tour, I was shown major monuments and pivotal city sights. I took over five hundred pictures, so this easily a beautiful place with scenic views.

  We enjoyed the tour you provided very much. But the shower system of hotel is not very good. We have to wait hot water came out for a long time. The other services of hotel are good.

  Wow! What a week. We couldn’t have asked for better service from Daniel and the team at Katnu. Communication each day was first class, despite only booking the 2 star option. We usually book everything ourselves, and it was nice for a change to sit back and let it all happen around us. There is very little to critique about this experience. Something beyond Daniel/Katnu Tours control was our experience on the Sacred Valley/Ollyantaytambo tour. We had group members constantly late back, and the tour guide of the day did not hold members accountable. On three occasions a couple was late back to the bus, one instance by up to 30 minutes. Ultimately, this meant when we got to Ollyantaytambo, we only had 10 minutes to explore the ancient site before needing to leave for our train. This was really disappointing as we were nothing but courteous and punctual. Additionally, the Moras Moray day tour could be optional to travellers. Whilst we understand the importance of visiting local vendors, the day was mainly spent in the car and was a long day after returning late from Machu Picchu, and gearing up for 2 3:50am wakeups the next two days. Additionally, for any travellers thinking of booking 2 stars- the accomodation itself was clean, comfy, great staff and a fantastic location. However, if you are a light sleeper book the 4-5stars. You hear EVERYTHING. Every conversation, every door opening and closing. Many travellers had zero regard for anyone else except them, and often spoke at the top of their lungs, had conversations on the stairway near the rooms and slammed doors at 3:30/4am. This is hard when you are on a 5:30-7am wakeups, and other travellers in the hotel are leaving for Rainbow Mountain or Lake Humantay. There is also a loud wine bar that plays music next door as well. This is not a reflection of Daniel or his team. We knew we booked 2 stars. Overall, this whole experience was beyond amazing and it was thanks to Daniel and the team at Katnu.

  I love it! Kantu Peru Tours did an absolutely amazing job to bring me an unforgettable and wonderful journey in the beautiful land of Cusco 🛤️🚞 Everything was exceptionally well organised and well communicated from start to finish. Apart from receiving information on what to prepare for the trip 3 weeks before I arrived which was extremely helpful, when I landed in Cusco, I was greeted by Kantu representative at the airport to take me to my hotel. Upon arriving my hotel, I was so happy to receive my personalised tour package and the representative also went through the itinerary with me to make sure I understood the rundown of the 7 days. Throughout 7 days, I received daily WhatsApp to brief me on next day activities and when I had any questions, I always got instant replies even after office hours. All tour guides were professional and lovely. On the last day, I was met by the same representative at the hotel to send me off to the airport and received a very lovely gift from Kantu for me to remember the beautiful land of Cusco! And my biggest shoutout for the absolutely exquisite work goes to Daniel, who is the Kantu representative doing the absolutely fantastic job to arrange my tour. With all that, I was only booking 2 stars accommodation and the room was absolutely beautiful. Most importantly, throughout the tour, I felt like I was getting a 5 stars service 😊 I have no doubt to recommend this tour to anyone and I praise Kantu Peru Tours for their commitment to deliver high quality tour experience.

  This is my third tour with TourRadar, and I love how easy the tours search is for any destination. Kantu Tours is the actual provider for the Peru tour I picked. I wish I could give them 5 stars for trying, but I have to bring the areas where they need to improve. My biggest uncomfortable area was where they didn't really provide an official voucher with all the details included, at least a weak ahead, which I got with my European tours. There was only an email high level write up ahead of time. I have booked this tour 6 months ahead of time, and have included extra day before, also extras on the Machu Pichu visit. I still went ahead with confidence, because they were good replying to any inquiry on TourRadar. They met me on the day of arrival as promised, and provided me documents with the itinerary and all the tickets included. It was well organized. There was outstanding 125USD to pay on arrival, and since they asked me to possibly pay in cash, I did that -but they didn't give me a receipt (even though I asked for it), and then 2 days later I was asked to pay again. Although this was eventually resolved, it didn't leave a good feeling. All the daily tours were packed and organized really well, good drivers, good guides, everything was very timely communicated via WhatsApp, and I felt taken care at all times. The second fall out was Machu Pichu - I had purchased circuit 3 tour right after the classic circuit 2, and then was told on the day that they don't have a guide for me and that I need to roam by myself - which I didn't, because that wasn't what I was sold and what was written on the document they have given me on arrival. The company did apologize for it, claiming it was a mistake, there was never a guide available for circuit 3. They offered some compensation, which I appreciate, but we do not repeat these kind of trips, so I wish that I didn't have to deal with it. I do not regret picking KantuTours for this trip, because after all it was an amazing experience and I didn't feel unsafe at any point of time. There was lots of action, good clean hotels, good food, good organization. I just hope they will take my feedback and make it even better for the others to come.
