- Zhen· October 7th, 2024It was very good!! Hope to get the group photos from the guides from each day. Also I wish the you would let you stay a machu Picchu for the entire day instead of having you to rush back the same day. Staying two nights at agua clientes would be better so you have a whole full day to explore machu Picchu instead of just half a day.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
- CMCarolyne· June 15th, 2023Mix and match of the right degree! Well hosted throughout and the communication between the tour company and ourselves could not be at fault. The trip was varied and amazing in equal measures.PVTravels commented on this reviewHi Carolyne! Thanks very much for your feedback! We are glad you had a good time :-) It was very nice to meet you guys!! Best wishes!Trip date: June 2023
- Amber· September 8th, 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the planning done by the agency was well done. We had excellent communication with our coordinator. The days are long but we had a blast. The accommodations are basic but comfortable. The meals were a bit basic but they kept us fed! All in all very happy with PV Travels and Luciana!Show moreTrip date: August 2022
- Michelle· March 21st, 2022Great once in a life time trip. The tour company was great, excellent customer service, well organized. Always availible through Whats app during trip for questions/concerns. Tips: allow 2 days to acclimate, altitude sickness is a real thing 1st day long 12 hours but amazing, got back at 9 pm, hard to do Rainbow mountains the next day at 430 am we had to skip it. The day spent in cusco was amazing though. the mountain road to hydroelectrica was terrifying, I would recommend taking bus then train to aguas calientes. Google the mountain road, it is one of the worlds top 10 deadliest ( we didnt know this till after) Also if you dont want to hike 3 hours from hydroelectrica to aguas calientes along the railroad tracks make sure the train will let you buy a ticket. We got there in time for the 430 last train but they wouldnt let us buy a ticket because it was a "peruvian only train" it was half empty. Tour guide couldnt tell us why. I would spend another day in aguas calientes, it is a great city with hot springs. Machu Pichu was beyond words, great guide to the site was supplied.Show morePVTravels commented on this reviewHi Michelle Thanks very much for your message! - EREsther· September 19th, 2021The locations were great, but the transportation, guides, and overall experience were just ok. It seemed disorganized many times, and one day they sent the person to pick me up to the wrong location. When she finally got there, she asked me if I had recently moved hotels. I told her I had been there for 3 days already. One of the guides rushed through some of the locations and we ended up just spending maybe 20 minutes at one place before getting back on the bus to get to the next place. I was under the impression that the tour would be provided in English. It wasn't. It was in Spanish. If I didn't understand Spanish, the guides told me that they would not have been able to conduct the tour to the best of their ability since they would've had to cut the information in half in order to be able to translate. What if I didn't understand Spanish at all? Would my experience have suffered tremendously because of it? Yes, because I saw exactly what happened to a couple that didn't understand Spanish. One of the guides was trying to find them another one so they could understand the history and stories better. They decided to just go on their own after seeing what a hassle it was to get someone to speak their language. Don't get me wrong, the guides were nice, courteous, and knowledgeable, but all I kept thinking was "Well, I guess it's a good thing I understand what they're saying or else I'd be screwed." I also didn't like that it was a new guide and a new group of people every day, so I never knew who was coming to pick me up, or if they were going to show up on time. I'm not sure if I would book another tour with this company. I was actually really excited to give TourRadar a chance, especially since I hadn't travelled in a long time and the price was so reasonable with everything that was included. Whenever I travel alone, I always book a tour so I don't have to worry, and many of the things I wanted to do were included in this particular tour. But now I'm wondering what the next tour will have in store for me based on this particular experience.Show moreTrip date: August 2021
