- NNNOEL· October 27th, 2024Excellent tour in Bhutan. First time I have booked with a local tour company (rather than G Adventures or Intrepid) and it was a great experience. Communication through the tour radar app was great and the Bhutan Acorn organised everything for me. I was the only person on the tour and they treated me great, even requesting the hotels to cook different Bhutanese food dishes that I could try. My guide Tashi was amazing, very enthusiastic, spiritual and all round nice guy. My driver Sangay was also very good. Bhutan Acorn made my stay in Bhutan amazing and I loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Bhutan.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
- IAIciar· October 21st, 2024The tour gives a very complete idea of Bhutan’s amazing landscape (lovely hikes), stunning culture (incredible temples) and wonderful people. We will cherish the memory of this journey , both our guide, Yeshi and our driver Zayeapa have been “treasure revealers”: We have discovered this beautiful country and it’s gentle, warm, welcoming people thanks to them. We could not have dreamt of better ambassadors than them to introduce us to Bhutan’s amazing culture. They went out of their way to organize it perfectly, always seemingly effortlessly, but with great professionalism, interesting information, friendliness, conversations and smiles all along the way. They really earned a place in our hearts.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- HLHeather· September 9th, 2024Beautiful peaceful country. We went at the end of August, the end of the wet season, so it was not too wet, and not too busy. I booked a tour that involved 4 hikes, all of which I really loved, especially the Tiger's Nest. I'm not very fit, but we went slowly. The guide and driver were both great, with excellent English. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful country.Show moreTrip date: August 2024
- CHColin· August 24th, 2024This was a trip of a lifetime and man was it absolutely wonderful in all the ways. We felt like VIP's the entire time. Especially our tour guide Tashi, who was so knowledgeable and kind throughout the whole trip. I never felt rushed, I always felt excited to see where we were going and what we were doing. Tashi knew so much and I can honestly say I he went above and beyond in each aspect of the trip. Highly recommended for people who are active and want to see one of the most beautiful places in the world. Request Tashi!Show moreTrip date: August 2024

Bhutan, an enchanting and tranquil country, feels like a world of its own, surrounded by a profound spiritual ambiance. The warm locals contribute to its inviting atmosphere. The pre-trip communication was seamless, swiftly arranging flights and visas. Received valuable pre-departure tips, such as securing a window seat for a Himalayan view during the flight. In Bhutan, my guide Tshiring and driver Tashi were well-informed, adjusting the itinerary based on my interests and energy levels, making the journey enjoyable and effortless. Bhutan Acorn's accommodations were cozy, including a night in a farmhouse for an immersive cultural experience. - Stephany· September 27th, 2023Bhutan, a landlocked gem nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, has always been a destination shrouded in mystique, known for its pristine landscapes and rich cultural heritage. My recent journey to this enchanting kingdom was an experience that transcended my wildest expectations, all thanks to Acorn Tours. From their impeccable communication to their flexibility in planning the trip, every aspect of the journey was meticulously orchestrated. Tashi's patience and willingness to answer our countless questions showcased his dedication to providing an authentic and educational journey. His passion for Bhutan was infectious, making us fall in love with the country's heritage. Accompanying us on this adventure was Sonam, our driver. Sonam's driving skills were exceptional, navigating the winding mountain roads with precision and ensuring our safety throughout the journey. His deep familiarity with the region's terrain made us feel secure, allowing us to soak in the breathtaking vistas without worry. One of the highlights of our trip was the authentic homestay experience arranged by Acorn Tours. Staying with a Bhutanese family allowed us to immerse ourselves in the local culture. The warm hospitality of our hosts made us feel like an integral part of their community, and the traditional Bhutanese cuisine they prepared was a delightful culinary adventure. We even got to hang out with visiting locals around a fire and take a hot stone bath with a rejuvenating soak in mugwort.
