  Having found your site located in Austria outside my normal UK sites followed by some simple chats on your system with George and we where booked. George even dealt with all our pre and post tour bookings very efficiently. He also responded to information request quickly, when he did not have a full answer he told us and got a proper answer to our questions.

  This tour was a perfect tour for me as an independent single traveller. The value for money was the best I’ve had anywhere, the hotels were far better than I expected. Maybe We were lucky we had only 6 so a mini van instead of a large bus and the guide adjusted everything according to what we wanted to see, so unusual and impossible with big groups. He also helped everyone in so many ways beyond the job of tour guide, amazing. The small group difference meant no late arrivals at hotels or really early starts which made the tour such a pleasure, especially since through the Balkans there are always some long travel days plus the border crossings. The driver was exceptional in his skills through so many countries, seeming to know the cities and villages so well, adjusting to roadworks and always knowing the detours. Liviu was driver and guide which seems unusual but really knew everything about all those amazing places we went through. I would actually like to do the whole trip again, there is so much to see. My reason for 4 stars was the communication before the tour was really terrible. I arrived 2 weeks early to Romania with still no information about the tour or the departure point,and still had none with lesss than a week to go, no replies to messages at all, I thought the tour wouldn’t go ahead until with 6 days to go tour radar followed up and after another day I was finally given information. Too much unnecessary stress for me and certainly spoilt my first week in Romania. The tour started late as I waited on the side of a street with my bags and the first day or so were very disorganised but after that the group worked well together. The loose organisation was ok because of the small group and we all enjoyed and appreciated our opportunity to see so much. I would definitely do a tour like this again.

  The driver was very attempted to our suggestion. He took us to a great locations was very patient when we suggested to stop on the washrooms. Explained when we stop on historical places.In general he was very complacent.

  Our private tour through the southern Balkans was amazing, so much to see, our guide Dan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and professional. He suggested many additional sites for us which made this such a special experience. Thank you to George who facilitated the organisation of the tour through Tour Radar and was always very supportive. We had a very positive experience organizing our holiday This was a fantastic experience

  Van uncomfortable. Many currency changes should be streamlined by tour. Much time and frustration invested in getting correct amount local currency for one day. Tour should handle thos. Also admissions should be streamlined and included. Small amounts but much hassle. Speaker system for tour director. Only person in front seat could hear him. Tour should be rated moderate walking and stair climbing, Free time was non-existent and should be scheduled into each day. Tour director kept changing plans. Evening city tours on steep cobblestone streets and tall stone steps before dinner, after a long day of other tours or driving were exhausting.

  Many faults with tour. No speaker system in van. Uncomfortable seating in van. Listed as 'guided' tour, but then claimed that they didn't have guide licenses. Write-up implied covered expenses ('we will visit", etc, ) but were not included. No provision for different currencies or how much of each. Guide was a great driver, but not suitable for this type of exercise. Tour was listed as good through age 90. Absolutely not true. There were many moderate walking days and I and my companion ended most days physically exhausted. Needed a 1/2 day or day break in tour.
