Shaban our guide is true safari expert was the main reason our safari turned out so great. He was knowledgeable about the parks, the best routes to follow so as to find wildlife, best spots for picnics in the bush. He gave us lots of interesting information about the parks, wildlife and culture of the Tanzanian people. We were lucky to have him with us for we would have missed a lot of the animals which he saw first. The Tanzania Wild Camps properties that we stayed in were excellent. We particularly loved Serengeti Safari Lodge, Highview Hotel and Ikoma Wild Camp. They are all so nice places that made our experience more memorable.Show more

We arrived to a warm welcome at Springlands Hotel in Moshi where we also met our guide Kileo, who was with us throughout the entire trip. The main activity were the game drives through the different parks however the experience was enriched by the biking, hot air balloon ride and cultural visits to the Maasai and Hadzbe tribes. The food throughout the trip was amazing and accommodations top class. The blend of savanah grasslands, forests and bush made it ideal for game drives. Baraka our guide was in his best element as he really impressed us with his animal spotting skills and knowledge of the parks and animals that we came across. He really made us feel special and we could see that he was genuinely there for us. Each of the tented camps that we stayed in was set in an amazing location with excellent views. Hamisi our trip designer was amazing; he took care of all the arrangements that we did not have to worry about anything. He took excellent care of us during the safari, ensuring that we were comfortable, drove carefully and was there or us. The game drives were amazing. We saw so may animals and he presented the parks in such a way that each place was unique for something. There were very few travelers in the parks at this time of the year which made the game drives exclusive and quite intimate for us. Shaban would take us to lovely spots where we were all by ourselves. We had an awesome hot air balloon ride in Serengeti which is really unforgettable. The game drives were fun and filled with amazing close up encounters with wildlife. Joseph is really awesome as he is an expert driver and even more gifted as a guide for he knew where to find the animals, the nicest picnic spots in the parks. The tented camps and lodges were amazing with gorgeous tent rooms, serving delicious meals and excellent selection of wines. The staffs were professional, friendly and really eager to keep us happy.
