- AAnonymous· October 19th, 2024This was a packed tour and perfectly laid out. We got there a day early and had the company organize a trip for us to Jerash, Umm Qais and Ajloun. Our driver, Naser was fantastic from the moment we met him. He was very patient, gave us a lot of history along the way and we sang and chatted as well. Perfect company for 7 days! However, there are some things that could use improvement. First of all, the hotel at the Dana Reserve is a back packing hostel that has no air con, fans, and many mosquitoes. The other hotels, especially the Petra Canyon are very nice and we were very satisfied with them. All of the staff at the hotels were 6/5. Very friendly and nice people. Next I would like to say that our driver Jalal was a very nice guy who was always on time and was quick to answer any questions we had. He took care of us until the very end. Lastly, I would also like to say, I’m not sure if this is Jordan culture but I gave tips to most of the tour guides and drivers and only one responded with thank you. From start to finish our guide ensured our trip would be remembered by providing upmost service and care. The guys from Trip 500 made sure we got to see the best of Jordan in the time we were there, Batool was amazing, got in touch even before the trip and kindly gave us support answering all our questions and during the trip she kept checking on us. Then Jalal our driver took us everywhere, always on time, always safe and always with a very good sense of humor, every drive was a mix of amazing landscapes and lots of laughing. Was a bit disappointed that as a solo traveller despite paying a single supplement and because there were only two of us on the tour some things that were on the itinerary like a guided walk we ended up having to pay for. On the other hand, when we mentioned our disappointment to our point of contact Batool she was very helpful and did what she could to help us in this regard.
