- JBJennifer· October 5th, 2022Top Deck is an Australian owned company, so most of the participants are Australian. That's fine, just as an American a heads up would have been nice. Overall it is an interesting tour, they bait and switch the prices of the extra excursions though, on average they were about $30 more then what is listed and you have to pay the guide in cash. This does mean that you will have to hunt down an ATM if you didnt bring a lot of cash. Also everything goes off of Italian time, which can be any where from 15-30 minutes later then the scheduled time. So if you plan on doing anything independent of the group, try not to schedule it for right after the group activity is supposed to finish. Also the meals that are provided are very repetitive, it is all basic tomato red sauce with noodles, nothing all that different. There is also a big emphasis on partying and drinking, so if that is not your scene I would avoid this trip. All in all it was a good way to see a lot of Italy, but I will not be going on another TopDeck tour.Show moreTrip date: September 2022

She is incredibly knowledgeable, is an organisational whizz and goes out of her way to make sure that her travellers are happy, all with a big smile. We were lucky enough to get Daisy as our tour guide. She was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, funny with her daily puns and fun facts and always ensuring we got perfect candid instagram shot.
