Carolyn was a great tour leader - she knew all of the cool local trivia and history facts, gave out curated recommendations for places to go/things to do on our off-time, and she was also just plain fun to hang out with.

Carolyn was incredibly insightful, always had the best tips and recommendations for wherever we were visiting. Felt like travelling with a good friend, rather than a tour guide you were paying which I loved. I really enjoyed my trip with her

Top Deck is an Australian owned company, so most of the participants are Australian. That's fine, just as an American a heads up would have been nice. Overall it is an interesting tour, they bait and switch the prices of the extra excursions though, on average they were about $30 more then what is listed and you have to pay the guide in cash. This does mean that you will have to hunt down an ATM if you didnt bring a lot of cash. Also everything goes off of Italian time, which can be any where from 15-30 minutes later then the scheduled time. So if you plan on doing anything independent of the group, try not to schedule it for right after the group activity is supposed to finish. Also the meals that are provided are very repetitive, it is all basic tomato red sauce with noodles, nothing all that different. There is also a big emphasis on partying and drinking, so if that is not your scene I would avoid this trip. All in all it was a good way to see a lot of Italy, but I will not be going on another TopDeck tour.

Daisy was such an awesome tour guide! Being my first tour, I didn’t really know what to expect, however Daisy made the experience so enjoyable. Her knowledge, her passion, her fun and bubbly personality and her constant smile helped make this trip so memorable. I had such an amazing trip and have made lifelong friends on this tour. I would recommend Daisy as a tour guide any day of the week!

I've done my fair share of travel, and Daisy by far is the best tour leader I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, is an organisational whizz and goes out of her way to make sure that her travellers are happy, all with a big smile. Would 100% recommend her as a tour leader.

For a long time myself and my now wife have wanted to travel to italy. We decided to head to italy for our honeymoon and we did the bravo italia topdeck tour. We were lucky enough to get Daisy as our tour guide. She was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, funny with her daily puns and fun facts and always ensuring we got perfect candid instagram shot. She really made us enjoy italy. I would reccomend anyone wanting to travel to italy to do this tour and if you get daisy as a guide if you have scored the jackpot.

Her passion radiates through her loving personality and her love of culture. I made so many amazing memories on this trip thanks to her. Definitely would love to go on another one of her tours again!
