He often dud not stay in the same location which seemed hard for him at times. The sites were beautiful and we saw a lot in the two weeks. We did not appreciate being in a different hotel from the rest of the group one night. Our hotel was much inferior to the other one.. Another time the group was also split. - JFJoseph· May 4th, 2024We loved and enjoyed our tour from Athens to Belgrade with Choose Balkans and Alfred (Alfie) as our tour guide and driver. We have been to 130 countries to date and Alfred is in our top 3 best tour guide list. He is excellent. The itinerary was well thought of, with all the highlights of each destination visited. Alfred provided us with the historical background of each attraction. Having a small group is absolutely a plus. There were 7 of us in an 8 passenger van. We communicated through social media when we were not in the van so a regional or global sim is advisable but not a must because all the hotels had free wifi. Since it was a small group, the guide had ample time to entertain our questions such as currency used and accepted and good places to eat. I recommend Choose Balkans and hopefully, we can do more tours with them someday. Each day was well planned with interesting sites to explore: old historic centers/ museums/ castles/ churches/ mosques/ markets. Hotels were well located and offered delicious breakfasts.
