    Italy with Pleasure fulfilled all its promise of an immersion into the countryside, the customs, the architecture, the cuisine, and the people of Puglia. The spacious accommodations were in a renovated antique farm estate that itself oozed charm and served delicious meals. The walks were through gorgeous and interesting countryside and culminated in outstanding lunches consisting of local recipes. Every day we explored a different town each with its unique architecture. Our tour guides, Malcom and Riccardo, could not have been more attentive, knowledgeable and fun. All in all it was an unforgettable week.

    I can't say enough about this tour and our guide Richie! The group was small; only 6 people; that made the tour so special and personal. everything was handled beautifully, our accommodations were very comfortable, typically Italian and very charming; the meals were fantastic; you could tell the restaurants were chosen by Italy With Pleasure with great care. a shout out also needs to go to our driver, Franco. I would definately go on another tour with Italy with Pleasure!

    Loved strolling through the gentle hills and valleys of Puglia, past trullies, individual plots for olives and almonds, wild flowers including orchids and vibrant red poppies. Travelling to towns such as Ostuni, Lecce, to the historic centres where we strolled though lanes taking in the sites and visiting churches,etc . The UNESCO town of Matera,with cave houses and cave churches hewn from the rock face of the deep ravine, was a highlight as was the 3/4 course lunches we had everyday. We loved our accommodation in a trulli for six nights in Alberobello.
