before going on the tour i was speaking to somebody called Walid. on the first day of the tour, a van came to collect us and they were waiting outside the hotel. i tried to find them myself as there were a few companys waiting outside the hotel. they didnt come searching for us. anyway when i tried to find then, they did not speak a word of english. they didnt even have our names! but they kept telling us - 3 girls, to get into their van. how were we supposed to do this with no info!? i kept showing my message i received from a man called Walid but they said - they did not know a walid. so now we were really worried!! then finally I MYSELF managed to find a confirmation of the booking and come to an understanding that this is the company we booked with. after booking the trip, this 'Walid' that no one apart from me has heard of, confirmed that this would be a tour of only two groups. us 3 and another family. we get in this medium sized car and find a comfortable spot for the next few days for the whole, only to find out that we are dropped off in 30 mins. this place was crowded with about 20 local men who were all drives. they told most people in which vehicle to get but kept asking us to wait when i showed my booking confirmation which i already paid in full also. i could see people making payments there and then. i also mentioned 'walid' again who still no one knew of. after 45 mins of standing in the middle of nowhere, confused, scared and worried that no one know of our booking. one of the drivers asks us to get into a large van which has been parked there from the start. this van already had about 20 people. so i say to this driver that 'walid' told us that it would be a small group' this man doesnt understand as he or none of the others can speak english. in the end they told us, to either get in the van or forgot about the tour. so we had no choice but take the only seats available and sit at the back in this very uncomfortable and dirty van. then we keep driving and driving - with a driver who speaks no word of english. he stops, we get off - where? what is this? no clue and we cannot ask either as he doesnt understand or speak english. then we get to the riad - all the asians or non white people are asked to get off. we check into this 1* riad of poor quality. only to find out that all the white people got a nice hotel. i am not a racist person. but this is also how the others felt. but the funny this is that, although we paid £121 pp and got to stay in the worse hotels. the others who paid 85 EUR stayed in nice hotels. then we get to the sahara and - same thing again!! the coloured people into a separate group whilst the others get a nice hotel again as we see them dropped off. then the camel tour - ours only lasted 30 mins and the others over 1.30 mins and they stayed further in the sahara. then as if this tour could not get any worse. the lads working in the hostel where we stayed, were saying VERY inappropriate things to all 3 of us girls. it was horrible. we were fully covered with no make up. they even tried to touch us!!! this was during daylight. we were so scared to sleep at night in a tent with only 3 girls in the sahara after what had encountered. i told all this this to 'walid' who was responding to me before starting the tour - but i never heard from him after this. nothing. i called him several times. i even have proof of my message and calls. but nothing!!! i have booked many tours on tourradar but this tour was not acceptable. it was not fair, somebody should have got back to us. someone should have spoken english. someone should have known about our booking. we should have been respected by the men working on the tour. we should have not felt scared! this was supposed to be a holiday. not a a trip in hell! i have come back home and told everyone to be careful travelling here and to make sure to travel with a man only!

Accommodation: First night in a 1-star hotel, instead of 3-4 star hotel as it has been advertised. The room smelled bad and the towels were old and dirty. Second night in a tent that hadn't been cleaned from the sand for ages. Transportation: Until we arrive at the desert, they used a Mercedes Sprinter mini-van which was clean and modern, although the driver was driving very fast while having his eyes on the phone and the roads were in a really bad shape. From the desert until Fes they arranged a taxi for us. The driver was driving like crazy, 130km/h on a road with speed limit 60 and again playing with his phone. We explained him that we won't continue under these circumstances coz we didn't feel safe. He had to call and bring another driver, but it only took 20 minutes waiting. The new driver was nice and driving safe. Meals: Lunchs were not included and we were aware of that but we always stopped in touristic restaurants, dishes were overpriced, the quality wasn't good and we didn't have any other option. Dinners were included but it was untasty food just enough to survive. Itinerary: We spent most of the day driving with few stops for photos and toilet. Not any information was given on our way. Guide: We only had two different guides on different locations. They were helpful, informative but the cost wasn't included as advertised and we had to pay extra for them. Not very expensive but still we didn't like that. Privacy: The tour was not private at all. We were always ending up with random people and we had to share our space with them. General thoughts: Lack of organization and communication. What is advertised has nothing to do with what is finally offered. We wouldn't chose to travel with this company again.
