- Churchill· January 7th, 2024My husband and I embarked on a rewarding journey to summit Kilimanjaro with the invaluable support of the Almighty Kilimanjaro team from December 23-31, 2023. Opting for the 8-day Lemosho Route fulfilled a goal I set in 2018. Our guides, Montari and Frankie, exhibited exceptional professionalism and care throughout the trek, especially during the challenging BARRANCO Wall ascent. Montari skillfully led us step by step, while Frankie ensured our safety at every turn. In moments of difficulty, such as when I faced stomach issues, Chef Shanbani went above and beyond by learning to prepare traditional porridge from my hometown, ensuring I received the necessary nutrition at high elevations. The crew's unwavering support was instrumental in our successful journey to the Uhuru Peak. My gratitude to Montari, Frankie, Shanbani, and the entire team for their dedication and efforts. We are immensely thankful for an unforgettable experience.Show moreTrip date: December 2023
- GGeorge· December 29th, 2023I am very happy with the service provided by Almighty Kilimanjaro. Our lead guide Jackson and entire crew were excellent, the food was great and the rental gear was of good quality. They kept us safe, happy and healthy through the entire climb, and thanks to them our entire group summited without issue. We had a great time and heartily recommend Almighty over and other company we saw operating on the mountain.Show moreTrip date: December 2023

- AAmaiaGiovanell· November 21st, 2020Almighty Kilimanjaro earns all the 5 star reviews. Amazing from start to finish. The booking staff was extremely helpful and responsive. Thank you Rasheedy. The mountain crew went above and beyond to ensure your safety and your success. Thank you Godfrey, Saido and all the porters! Rongai route is often called “less” scenic. This couldn’t be more wrong. You see both sides of the mountain on this trip, so it feels like you get more scenery. Also, camp at Mawenzi was an added bonus of beauty. This was a life changing experience! Thank you Almighty Kilimanjaro!Show moreTrip date: November 2020
- CCathyAnderson· November 12th, 2020We booked Almighty Kilimanjaro Company directly and have only good things to say. Our guides were very knowledgeable and made us feel safe throughout our trip. The food was great and the tents and facilities were all comfortable. We had Jackson and Mbex who, along with Duma and the rest of their crew, are really responsible for getting us to Uhuru and back in one piece. And they made it fun. The Almighty Kilimanjaro made our preparations easy. All in all, the Rongai route with the Almighty Kilimanjaro Company was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone.Show moreTrip date: October 2020
- RRajivGandhi· July 27th, 2020We were all torn over the choice between Rongai and Marangu routes. After alot of research and endless questions to our tour operator, we chose Rongai. We were very very happy with our decision and after speaking to some people at our hotel in Moshi after the climb, it was definitely a good decision. They said that Marangu huts were not very well kept and it was very busy. (We prefer the more quiet scenes). Camping was a abit difficult, but our equipment was very good, i think vaude was the name of our tents from Almighty Kilimanjaro. Our head guide Agustino(a short but very friendly Tanzanian), was truly amazing. Without him we could never have made it as far as we did. Also a big thank you to our porter team who contributed as much as the head guide. I couldnt believe that we were struggling so much with less weight than the porters running past us!!! We had to give generous tips! Almighty Kilimanjaro was chosen after alot of research online, and the main reason was their claims of safety and the fact they have been doing this for some years (as we found out, many people in Tanzania have a Kilimanjaro "company", that usually lasts a few weeks of the year. The extra money we decided would be a good investment, and it was still relatively cheap compared to some of the quotes we received. We were very right, they were very professional in dealing with us, and answered any question within a day. We took our own sleeping bags, but rented flush light and poles and a few other bits, all were very good and new looking. I would definitely return to Moshi to climb the mountain again, without hesitation book through Almighty Kilimanjaro as im sure they will still be around for years to come. I reackon i will climb through Machame or Lemosho the next time I visit.Show moreAlmighty Kilimanjaro commented on this reviewThanks Rajiv for sharing with us this one life time experience . This means a lot to us, thanks again for choosing us during your kilimanjaro climbing , see you again in AfricaTrip date: June 2020
- JJonelleGingrich· March 15th, 2020Excellent service from start to finish. Porters and guides were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had two in our group that had to turn back and this was handled with extreme care and courtesy. The 5 who made it only were able to do so because of the confidence, helpfulness and determination of our guides, especially Sayidee, Diane And Innocent. Not all your companies are the same- if you want attention to details, responsiveness and 5 star service, booking with almighty Kilimanjaro. They are also one of the only companies to promote women guides. Thanks for a great trip!!Show moreAlmighty Kilimanjaro commented on this reviewThank for the best moment we shared together , see you again in AfricaTrip date: February 2020
