- EFEstelle· November 5th, 2024I cannot stress how incredible Almighty Kilimanjaro was and how supportive their staff was. This was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve done and it wouldn’t have been made possible by the incredible staff - Joseph (main guide, another Steward, Hilda, Job, Abraham, Samsoni, Amile to name a few. Not only did we see amazing things along our journey, but we had full meals, met great people, and felt that that all my needs were taken care of. By day 5, I had horrible elevation sickness which extended until the end of the trip. I was throwing up everything, felt horrible, and the staff constantly checked on me. Stewart, one of the guides, literally was rubbing my back as I was throwing up to make sure I was ok, brought me water, gave me his own Vaseline cuz my lips were super cracked, helped carry my water bottle, and gave me words of encouragement. I felt so incredibly cared for and supported the entire time. They referred to our group as family and it truly felt like a little family for those 8 days. If you’re going to do this hike, there is no other company I can imagine that would go above and beyond like they did. Beyond impressed.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- SRSarah· October 14th, 2024I really would like to pass on my feedback to Almighty Kilimanjaro and the guides/porter who looked after us on our trip. I was truly blown away by how well everything worked logistically, how well we were looked after from start to finish, and how amazing the guides/porters were - the porters really are the unsung heroes. The tent/camp setup was great, the food was fantastic and far better than I thought it would be, and finally the support and encouragement throughout was top level. Robert was an amazing chief guide, very attentive, took the medical checks seriously and led from the front. Dan was fantastic, very encouraging and reminding us all the time that success for us , made them happy. John was great at looking after individuals if they were struggling and was always there to lend a hand. Bern was very calm, always making sure everyone was ok, whilst always being positive and ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. Lastly Shaban was just amazing, he made sure nobody was left on their own, and he was genuinely a great person and was very open to talking about his personal life and the life of a guide/porter. On summit night, I saw many other tour groups with only 1-2 guides per group. On summit night, we had at least one guide per person - this was a real credit to Almighty Kilimanjaro and how you operate. Safety was always paramount. Worth every penny you pay, and Almighty is not the most expensive tour group either. The whole setup really was commendable - I recommend Almighty kilimanjaro to anyone who is thinking of climbing Kili as the only choice you need to consider!Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- Valerian· September 29th, 2024The trek was great, the team is very well organized and everything is in place to make the climb a success. The guides, Muntari and Francky, were very competent and made us feel at ease throughout the adventure. Amani also looked after us very well at the various camps. The food was also very good and adapted to our diets. Last but not least, the remaining members are just as helpful and smiling, which makes the adventure all the more enjoyable.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
- RSRyan· September 21st, 2024Unforgettable experience with amazing staff. I would highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro to anyone thinking of doing the climb!Trip date: September 2024
- ABAdam· September 21st, 2024This was one of the best trips of my life, this route is absolutely beautiful and the mountain is hard but doable with all these climatization walks, the whole team was incredible from our guides innocent and Freddie who had heaps of knowledge about everything Kilimanjaro from the birds to the indigenous flowers, they were a walking book of knowledge which was amazing and also so supportive and helpful, then we had the chef who was amazing, especially for me who has allergies, they made great adjustments so I still had good food with lots of energy! I would recommend hiring a toilet as it definitely saved us long walks in the cold night, and with altitude medication you don’t want to be too far away from one! Overall every part of this trip was 5 star, I don’t have a single bad thing to say and I can’t recommend this company and team enough! If I ever come to Tanzania again for any excursions, I will definitely be using almighty Kilimanjaro and ask for the same team we had.Show moreTrip date: September 2024

- David· August 21st, 2024Innocent (Arico), Freddy, and Robby were our guides on an 8 day Lemosho trek. They were extremely knowledgeable and attentive to every need. They carefully watched for altitude sickness and helped us successfully reach the summit. Aside from being experienced guides, they also were great people to be around while on the trail and at camp. The food was amazing, and they even had a miracle tea to help one of our members who became sick just before summit day. Great experience, can't imagine having better guides. Thanks a ton!Show moreTrip date: August 2024
- Adam· August 8th, 2024We had a great time climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Our guides and porters were fantastic, so supportive and helpful. Our chef made us three hot meals a day, fueling us for the climb. The tent provided was good and our kit moved from camp to camp by a lovely group of porters. I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro as a tour company. We wouldn't have made it to the summit without them.Show moreTrip date: August 2024
- SBShana· July 29th, 2024What an amazing trip! Lemosho route really is the most beautiful hike. Every day the scenery changes and you get to see something new. Thank you to our wonderful guide Arico, assistant guides john and Mark, Faustine the chef, and all of the amazing porters who helped us successfully reach the top of Africa 😊. I cannot thank them all enough. Every day we were so well looked after. The food and hospitality was fantastic and we had everything we needed to help us get to the summit.Show moreTrip date: July 2024
- Sheena· July 15th, 2024I booked the 8 day Lemosho route hike with Almighty Kilimanjaro via The Adventure People. The hike was fantastic, and our guides (Joseph and Muni) were both brilliant throughout. They were kind, keen to answer our many questions, and explained lots to us about the terrain and the mountain along the way. I booked as a solo traveller, and together we were a group of two which worked well. The wider team of cook/waiter/porters were also excellent, and I cannot thank them enough for their amazing efforts, and helping to get us to the summit. They always arrived ahead of us at the campsite, and set up our tents/prepared food etc, and were very reliable and helpful. The hike itself was well planned, and we had plenty of time for rest and recovery along the way. I would highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro, they were great. Thank you!Show moreTrip date: July 2024
