- AAlex· January 25th, 2025One of the best experiences of my life. I did the 8 day Lemosho route with Almighty Kilimanjaro. They were well organised from the start and I felt very safe in their hands throughout the trip. Our lead guide Robert, and his team, made the trip for us. I highly recommended asking for Robert. His knowledge of the mountain is unmatched and it meant that we benefitted from incredible views / moments that others did not due to his understanding of the weather patterns. I went solo (I’m 35) and joined two others (45) to make a group of 3. That was perfect for what I wanted, it had a more relaxed vibe and we were able to set a great pace throughout the trip. It also meant that we felt strong for the summit day and had acclimatised well. Led by Robert and Liberat, we were able to time the summit push to perfection, getting to the top for sunrise. It was an experience like none other 🌅 Other points to note, the food was great considering, you can borrow anything you need from the team and everyone from the porters to the cook made an effort to make us feel welcome. I could not recommend this team more!! Pole Pole! P.S. ask Robert about how he took Cheryl Cole and Garry Barlow and the comic relief team up KiliShow moreTrip date: January 2025
- SASchmidit· December 2nd, 2024Outstanding experience with an outstanding team. If you want to hike Kilimanjaro you should go with Almighty Kilimajaro. The service from initial inquiry through to the end of our trip was faultless. They have all the information you need and a deep understanding of what a great experience looks like when doing such a big trip like this one. The team who took us up the mountain were amazing - the food was great, the tents and our gear were well managed and always waiting for us on arrival at the next camp. Highly professional. A group of 20 of us all summited, and when two of our friends felt ill on the way down they looked after them with a huge amount of care and attention until the chopper came to take them down. From the crew on the ground (thank-you Rashid and Yona!) to the leader on the hike we could not have asked for more. John, Richard, Munio,Sado, Gaby, Muntari, Munir, Temu and the rest of the team - thank-you - I miss you my friends!Show moreTrip date: November 2024
- nick· November 22nd, 2024I am a fairly experienced trekker, having visited SE Asia/Asia/South America. This organisation was the best by far! Booked the Almighty Kilimanjaro lemosho tour because I wanted the slow ascent to give best success rate and liked the attention to detail in their literature. Almightys driver, Abdul, met me at the airport really nice guy. Took me to the hotel where I met another of their reps and Joseph the guide. I expected to join a crowd, however they had rescheduled, very impressed that almighty didn’t outsource the trek, and ran it just for me. Joseph’s experience really showed during the trek. He always had the time to point out interesting facts and nature, and trekking at a sensible poley-poley pace when ascending. The whole crowd from Almighty were great fun, and really enjoyed the tough job they have. All getting on well and laughing and joking amongst themselves. How Abu, the chef did it I don’t know but the food was amazing. Summit night, we were first up the mountain, Joseph knowing the route so well he could navigate by moonlight, despite everything covered in snow. I’d never had made it had Joe not been so encouraging! And what a sunrise we had. First footprints in the snow that morning. At my request we trekked straight back to the gate. A long day, 13 1/2 hours from setting off to summit, back to BC, then down to the gate. A lovely treat to be back in the hotel that night, that Almighty also paid for me. The following day Abdul took to me the local souvenir shop and coffee, again complimentary. Joseph has been a guide since 2012, and a porter prior. His (post pandemic) success rate is 100%. Couldn’t recommend this company higher.Show moreTrip date: November 2024
- DJDouglas· November 19th, 2024I have done many trips around the world with many tour companies. Almighty Kilimanjaro was exceptional. The Kilimanjaro climb was supported in a manner that exceeded my expectations in every respect - the meals, the attention to the condition of the climbers continuously (blood oxygen and pulse rate etc). Very highly recommend them. I am going to use the again soon!Show moreTrip date: November 2024
- PWPaUL· November 15th, 2024My journey up Mt. Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimanjaro was extraordinary! The team's attention to detail and personalized care was evident from the moment I reached out to their Tanzania office. I live in Dallas, and Almighty Kilimanjaro's travel experts, Rashidy, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I opted for a private 8-day tour via the Lemosho route. It helped me dive into the experience and enjoy it thoroughly, focus on the climb, and capture photographs without holding anyone up. Almighty Kilimanjaro has a very well stocked rental equipment shop within their office in Moshi and all of the gear that they provided was top notch, especially their bigger sized tent was incredible to have on Kilimanjaro. The support team worked together wonderfully. Amiry, the chief guide for my tour, was fantastic. He shared many interesting insights that deepened my appreciation for the mountain and the locals. Salimu, the summit assistant and porter Mdee, helped me manage equipment during our daily hikes from camp to camp. We had so much fun together, and I feel fortunate to consider all of them now my friends. Salim is currently in training to become a head guide, and I am positive that with his passion and dedication he will excel in this role. Everyone went above and beyond, providing the care and comfort that made the experience unforgettable. The strength and grit of the porters genuinely inspire me. Reaching the top was an incredibly rewarding moment, made possible by the dedication and expertise of the entire Almighty Kilimanjaro team. I left this journey with lifelong memories and a profound respect for the people I met. For anyone considering a Kilimanjaro experience, I highly recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro, and I look forward to returning soon, this time with my friends and family. - EFEstelle· November 5th, 2024I cannot stress how incredible Almighty Kilimanjaro was and how supportive their staff was. This was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve done and it wouldn’t have been made possible by the incredible staff - Joseph (main guide, another Steward, Hilda, Job, Abraham, Samsoni, Amile to name a few. Not only did we see amazing things along our journey, but we had full meals, met great people, and felt that that all my needs were taken care of. By day 5, I had horrible elevation sickness which extended until the end of the trip. I was throwing up everything, felt horrible, and the staff constantly checked on me. Stewart, one of the guides, literally was rubbing my back as I was throwing up to make sure I was ok, brought me water, gave me his own Vaseline cuz my lips were super cracked, helped carry my water bottle, and gave me words of encouragement. I felt so incredibly cared for and supported the entire time. They referred to our group as family and it truly felt like a little family for those 8 days. If you’re going to do this hike, there is no other company I can imagine that would go above and beyond like they did. Beyond impressed.Show moreTrip date: October 2024
- SRSarah· October 14th, 2024I really would like to pass on my feedback to Almighty Kilimanjaro and the guides/porter who looked after us on our trip. I was truly blown away by how well everything worked logistically, how well we were looked after from start to finish, and how amazing the guides/porters were - the porters really are the unsung heroes. The tent/camp setup was great, the food was fantastic and far better than I thought it would be, and finally the support and encouragement throughout was top level. Robert was an amazing chief guide, very attentive, took the medical checks seriously and led from the front. Dan was fantastic, very encouraging and reminding us all the time that success for us , made them happy. John was great at looking after individuals if they were struggling and was always there to lend a hand. Bern was very calm, always making sure everyone was ok, whilst always being positive and ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. Lastly Shaban was just amazing, he made sure nobody was left on their own, and he was genuinely a great person and was very open to talking about his personal life and the life of a guide/porter. On summit night, I saw many other tour groups with only 1-2 guides per group. On summit night, we had at least one guide per person - this was a real credit to Almighty Kilimanjaro and how you operate. Safety was always paramount. Worth every penny you pay, and Almighty is not the most expensive tour group either. The whole setup really was commendable - I recommend Almighty kilimanjaro to anyone who is thinking of climbing Kili as the only choice you need to consider!Show moreTrip date: October 2024

- Valerian· September 29th, 2024The trek was great, the team is very well organized and everything is in place to make the climb a success. The guides, Muntari and Francky, were very competent and made us feel at ease throughout the adventure. Amani also looked after us very well at the various camps. The food was also very good and adapted to our diets. Last but not least, the remaining members are just as helpful and smiling, which makes the adventure all the more enjoyable.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
