- Sharon· May 5th, 2022Tours were good and the tour guides were knowledgeable. We covered a lot in 5 days. The people on the tours were friendly and the rides were comfortable. For lunches we were taken to restaurants where they could quickly accommodate a large number of people but often they were over priced , limited choices, and the food was sub par. So lunch was $25 US for a small salad bar and undercooked fried fish, Two beef kabobs or such. I would have rather brought my lunch-which some hotels will make up for you. Our hotel, the BY14 was clean and comfortable but smaller than US hotel rooms. I upgraded one level and was glad I did. Other tour friends said the basic hotel package was unacceptable but they were told they would lose all their money if they tried to switch. Touradar could do a better job on giving out information on the hotels prior to booking. Also many tour friends booked their own hotels with points and such at the Hilton and Sheraton. The tours picked up and dropped off at those hotels too hope this helps someone with their visit to Israel.Show moreClick Tours commented on this reviewHi Sharon, Thank you very much for your review, great to hear that you enjoyed. - JDJayesh· January 22nd, 2020The tour guides Avi and Danny were great during weekday trips but the guys on the weekend were awful. The hotel arranged by TR was great but be aware of the crazy transfer system used by Ben Heirem in shuttling passengers from one bus to the other and also visits to ‘souvenir’ shops which wasted almost half the time on the designated tours. I would not pay TR the amount I did again - DIY is the way to go.Show moreTrip date: January 2020
- TMTim· October 2nd, 2019Overall the tour lived up to expectations. A major flaw was not receiving a detailed intinerary until after the trip was underway. This precluded us from researching hotels etc. and possibly making changes, including hotel upgrades. Israel itself has unparalleled high points and we were not disappointed. The large tour bus experience was double edged, as we reconnected with fellow tourers, but the logistics of the mass bus experience were necessarily cumbersome. The Nov Tavor hotel in the Nazareth region was a significant disappointment. It was below Motel 6 level and so remote that the Cafe across the street was our only dining choice. Luckily, the Cafe was decent. TourRadar responded positively to our feedback by upgrading our accommodations in Jerusalem. Also, we were informed that Click Tours was our guide, but it was actually Bein Harim. The guides were great, however. Shahar, Yoav and Steven.Show moreTrip date: September 2019
