li· November 4th, 2024Dissatisfied with the transfer service. We arrived at the Mykonos ferry port and the driver did not come to pick us up. After contacting him, he did not stop even though he saw us walking in the parking lot with our luggage, and drove past us to pick up another couple. When we got in the car, his attitude was very unfriendly, while he was very friendly to the local couple. All 4 of us were very angry.Show more

Communication with the tour team was very good. We had a glitch with one pick up location but it was quickly resolved. A couple of the hotel accommodations were not the best. One hotel in Athens was in a bad neighborhood and not safe for walking. Also the location was not near activities or tour bus pick up. We used Uber to navigate the area. The islands of Greece were beautiful and an enjoyable experience. We arranged several private tours which gave us a chance to tour with locals. We were immersed in the history and culture. - Jan· October 24th, 2024Love the trip, though not long enough on Islands. Personally could have given Santorini a miss. Transfers were great, except for one. He didn't know where accommodation was, so dropped us off and pointed in wrong direction. That accommodation was poor, no window and very scarce in furnishings. All else was great. Typically we do our own booking and itinerary but using TourRadar removed all of that time and effort. We had concerns regarding hotel quality and transfers to and from each venue but found the hotels were all very adequate and transfers were all on time and proved to be absolutely effortless and worry free. If we did have a problem, communication through the booking platform worked great and situations were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We even wanted to upgrade one of the hotels during our vacation with a special request for a magical sunset view on the island of Santorini which was met to the absolute highest degree. - DSDebby· September 27th, 2024We had high hopes for this tour, as we’d been to Greece a few times and loved it. The tour looked amazing. However, we have returned disappointed. The hotels were not up to standard: the bathrooms were dirty, the locations badly chosen, the rooms small, not even basic comfort. For example in Mykonos the hotel is right in front of a very busy road. We always had to spend a lot of money to go and see anything on the islands. Nothing was close by. The hotels were the most basic budget choices every time. The only hotel that was comfortable was the one in Crete. All the transfers had very long waiting times. Not all the transfers were private, like advertised. I tried to discuss this immediately with Dot Travel. They dismissed all my concerns. They basically said I was wrong to not like the accomodations. In the brochure it was also stated that at every transfer there would be a Dot Travel representative. We never saw one, even after contacting them relentlessly. Dot Travel has given us a small financial token even though they still tell me I am wrong about everything. Our expensive holiday was a great disappointment so I would have preferred an actual apology for Dot Travel.
