- KBKEVIN· March 31st, 2024We had a fantastic tour with Turban Adventures, seeing the best sites in The Golden Triangle, and having a great experience on Holi having fun at a big festival then enjoyed being invited into the home of one of our guides and meeting his family. Manohar and his team go above and beyond, even meeting us at the airport at 1.30 am. The tour packed in all the main sites but we also have great memories of seeing locals going about their daily lives. The guides and drivers were excellent, and the hotels were better than I had expected. It was great that the cost of the food was included, though the cost of drinks was more than I had expected. I would have no hesitation recommending booking direct as it was good value and I don't think a bigger company could have provided a better organised or a more memorable tour.Show more

This week was full of highlights, I still have to realise all those beautiful impressions and experiences really happened. - LWLynne· March 30th, 2024The 7 day Holi Tour by Turban Adventures was the highlight of our 3 week trip to India. This tour enabled us to see the golden triangles major sites and celebrate Holi. The Holi celebration was very special and something we will never forget. We both feel so glad we chose to tour India during Holi. Turban Adventures was by far the best tour operator we had out of the three tours we took in India. The tour components were as described or better. We found out the hard way this is not always the case with other tour operators. Communication was excellent, the local tour guides were all amazing, they all spoke good English and worked really hard to ensure we had the best possible experience, i.e. getting us fast tracked through busy Holi queues. We found Manohar (owner) from Turban Adventures easy to deal with, he displayed honesty and integrity and truly wanted us to have the best experience possible. I will definitely be recommending Turban Adventures to my friends and family. Our driver was super and told us a lot about the areas of India we were visiting. We also had various guides throughout the trip that were excellent and very informative. We loved seeing the different sites in New Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Our accommodation was also perfect. We particularly enjoyed our homestay in Jaipur at the Dugore Homestay. We were very comfortable here and had some incredible homemade food. - Ray· March 24th, 2023It was my first time to visit India and I had an incredible time because of Turban Adventures. Their Golden Triangle tour has a good balance of guided touring and free time. Tours are usually in the morning and by early afternoon I was free to explore on my own and enjoy the local scenes or simply rest. Accommodation provided were definitely better than I expected given that I booked a budget tour. I especially enjoyed my accommodations in Rajasthan where I spent one night in a small old palace turned into a hotel in the contryside and two nights in a quiet homestay in the center of Jaipur. Breakfast was always included in hotels and they were a good mix of local and western dishes. For lunch, I was brought to some nice restaurants serving delicious local meals. I was the only one who booked for the day of my tour so it became a private tour. For the entire week, Monu, the driver was very efficient and friendly. I am very thankful he kept me safe for the duration of the tour. He drove a very comfortable and new Toyota Innova with captain seats in the back. There were always bottled water, wipes, alcohol and tissue available. For every city there was an expert local guide who would accompany me to amazing monuments. Without them, I would probably not appreciate much of the beautiful sites I was seeing. They provided the rich historical background and were always able to answer questions I had. Manohar, the tour company owner, was always in contact to check on me during the tour. I really appreciate his concern and all the other planning done behind the scenes. They handled everything from hotels, transportation (comfortable coach bus for all tour members), reservations at restaurants, guided/Informational tours at the specific locations we visited and made sure to keep us hydrated! All you need to do is get dressed and enjoy the trip lol. Each city we had a different tour guide from a different background who had funny stories, kept us entertained, provided a lot of historical and interesting information on the point of interest. It was very informative and fun. We saw lots of things from tourist spots to local areas. We also had a fun group on my tour. It’s always nice to experience something new and meet people from other parts of the world. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that is planning to come to India you will not be disappointed! Manohar and his team were very communicative with all of us makes it super easy. Holi was crazy and enjoyable.
