First of all, we have to give a huge thank you to Anouar, our tour guide for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable during the entire journey. He was without a doubt, one of the best ambassadors to Morocco that we met. We felt 100% safe, and were so glad to have him navigate the roads and social challenges that we may have been less than comfortable doing alone. The tour itself was very comprehensive, with journeys into the desert camps, road trips through mountains, canyons, all the major cities, and unique pit stops along the way. Our guide was flexible whenever we wanted to see close by areas that weren't on the tour, as well as understanding on a day that we decided to skip an excursion when we were tired. Highlights for our trip were the camel ride through the desert and the camp fireside local performers, the picturesque blue city of Chefchaouen, the streets of Tangier, the german styled city of Ifran and the endless markets of Fez. The road trip between cities was filled with good conversation and even better shared music. The accommodations were all as pictured, or in some cases better. They were always among the nicest locations in the area. The guide took a lot of care in choosing quality Riads and hotels. The food at the hotels was usually exceptional, and the restaurant recommendations were always on point. In closing, I'll say that we came to Morocco as tourists, but left with a friend in our guide Anouar @guidedmoroccotours :-) Make sure you insist on him for a seamless visit.Show moreTrip date: July 2023
