A city break sounds good. But a succession of cities sounds even better. And this is exactly what you can look forward to when you get on board an A-ROSA ship. The best crêpes in the city? Shopping streets that will set your heart racing? Or how about that quirky museum you’ve heard so much...

Das Team hat stets unsere Wünsche uns erwartungen gänzlich erfüllt und war dabei immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr delikat und abwechslungsreich. Auch die Ausflüge waren gut organisiert. Daher alles bestens!

    1. Poor organized. Changing first day meeting place at last minute. We took taxi in the early morning to new place. (You mentioned we get reimbursement for the taxi). 2. Changing guiders. We had 3 guiders in this trip. Among them, Terry is the best, (even though his talking are 80% Spanish, which I don’t understand, and 20% English. He told people a lots of information about the area. He helped moving the luggages for people. That helps the driver and guests a lot. Mary is worst. When we asked her to tell us something. Her response was “I told you all I know “. Most of her working time was looking her cellphone and talking to driver. She never help for the luggage. She just picked her luggage and leave. Luckily, the driver worked with her was very nice hard worker. Hope the improvements in the future: 1. Tell guests how much English information we would expect. 2. If no English, at least give us some kind of audio a long the trip. 3. If for some reasons, we get in hotel late, stop somewhere we could pickup some foods. As I know an old couple from US, went bed with empty stomachs two time. I love the route of this tour. This is a plus.

We spent a very pleasant week on your Arosa Stella. The buffet was very extensive and tasty. However, we would have preferred the French cuisine in France. But still, we will now have to do something with the regulation of our weight! We also very much appreciated that they also have a good relationship with the weather god.

The staff on the A-Rosa Luna cruise were outstanding and they worked very hard. The river and the scenery was stunning. However, there were many problems with the boat and the tour itself. The tour was not at all comparable to what was described in the brochure. We paid the premium price and were supposed to be upgraded. However, when we arrived we were not listed on the manifest. The Hotel Manager, Annette was most gracious, and offered us each a complimentary 50-minute massage for this oversight. There were no robes in the cabin. When one of us asked for a cappuccino we received less than half a cup and the waiter asked for our cabin number as if this was a perk. This cruise was designed for German speakers. The staff did the best they could to accommodate the 10 guests who were English speakers, but there were no tours offered In English and none of the staff were truly competent in English. Some of the problems with the boat included the coffee maker being broken for four days. We were given instant coffee. There were no small spoons to stir the coffee at the coffee stations. The bathroom in the lobby was out of order for the entire cruise. We were served recycled food made from leftovers on several days. It truly felt like a budget cruise. Leftover cheese trays day after day, yogurt that appeared curdled, Jell-O, like whipped cream desserts, without real fruit, very limited fresh fruits that ran out quickly every day. When I asked for a banana, I was told me the bananas were only for the sick people. Half the staff had a flu like sickness that spread to other guests. Two of us came down with food poisoning the last day of the cruise. Three of the four of us do not drink alcohol and we became aware of huge discrepancies between what some people paid for their cruise, and what we paid for our cruise. We have no idea why we pay for a premium plan when we received the basic plan. There was no special menu. The captain’s son was on board and he ran havoc around the deck, jumping in the pool, splashing all of the elderly guests. When we asked him to please stop, he ignored us to continue to do whatever he pleased. One of the biggest disappointments was that Arles and Avignon were combined into one single day. We had 5 hours in Arles in the morning and two hours from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm later in the evening at Avignon. There was no opportunity to visit museums or churches, etc. I could not in good conscience recommend this tour to any of my friends
