    Great tour! Five days of hiking on the mountain with knowledgable and kind guide, chef and porter. You are alone, not part of a group, but you meet other groups/people on the mountain. There are 3 people taking care of you, which is nice, but can seem like a lot sometimes. The acclimatisation day is really useful, especially when you are not used to altitude. You get to choose whether to stay in huts or tents - since tents can be really cold, huts are preferable. Don't expect the accomodations to be anything special - they are good, but spartan. Major downside was transportation on the last day: the jeep from the mountain to chogoria is not included (80 USD per jeep) and has to be paid on the spot. I strongly recommend Sana to include this in the price of the trip.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before January 7th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 7th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Sana Highlands Trekking Expeditions. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Sana Highlands Trekking Expeditions will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
