There was a lot of driving but many stops to break that up. I have been on a number of tours in America and Europe and found the hotels on this tour to much nicer than in the past. The tours of Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon were nothing less than SPECTACULAR. The guides on the bus and at the sites were more than knowledgeable. The bus was top of the line. However you cover 4 wonderful states, a drive I'd never do on my own. Edwardo was excellent tour guide and Roberto was nice but not as informative. Each hotel was clean and comfortable. Trip date: September 2022- Lindsay· January 2nd, 2022The places we visited were incredible and I wouldn’t have been able to see it all of it weren’t for the set up of the guided tours. However I do think a few things could have been different to make it more enjoyable. Most of our stops were very quick and not enough time for us to explore and enjoy the area we were in. Also any stops where there were excellent food places we instead ate at cheap bad fast food. I would have liked the option and time to go somewhere local and good. Also specific to TourRadar, the itineraries were out dated and incorrect. We didn’t stay at any of the hotels that were listed on the itinerary and the stops and places we went were all mixed up or not part of what we were actually doing. - NSNikita· December 4th, 2021Pros: - You cover a lot of ground in this tour, and see some really varied and beautiful landscapes, ranging from coastal/beach, to canyons, to desert. - There are lots of stops which give you enough time to hop out and explore the different towns or landscapes. - Given the sheer distance covered, it is a good alternative for those who don't want to drive, but still want to see some really different states. Cons: - The tour guides were very mixed. One was more of a driver, and didn't always offer much useful (or accurate) commentary. Both guides I experienced also made their political views clear- but to the point where they treated them like fact, rather than making it clear to a group of tourists that those were their personal views. I really didn't appreciate that. - Be prepared to spend a LOT of time on the minibus - a few days of this tour are essentially for driving between locations and not really seeing things, given the sheer distance it covers. - The route could have been better, like skipping the outlet mall and including the Grand Canyon instead. - Food options are terrible- the tour guides think cheap, fast food constitutes 'choice', so again, be aware of that. - The accommodation is really mixed - the Vegas hotel is great, as is one other in Oakland, but the others are run-down 2 or 3 stars (one of the bathrooms was disgusting).Show moreAmadeo commented on this reviewThank you very much for your detailed review, we appreciate all feedback.
