- ABAlya· November 13th, 2024The driver was excellent, on time always! We had two guides, the first one Dina was not honest with us. She told us that the horse carriage ride around the Giza Pyramids was $35 USD per person cash. We were gullible and gave her the money, she put the money in her pocket. There was no receipt and the horse driver told us that was not the price. So we were very disappointed by this incident. Also it was Friday and we wanted to go pray Jummah and she was very reluctant. We ended up praying on the street outside some random mosque. Dina took us to places that wanted us to buy their carpets. She took us to vendors that she knew and would not let us buy from random vendors. The second guide was ok, she was knowledgeable about Islamic Cario. By now we were very cautious.Show more

This tour is really good if you are interested in the history as the tour guide seemed very knowledeable. Everything was great- there was someone to fetch us from the airport, we stayed at an amazing hotel and we visited marvellous places. I really wanted to visit the pyramids and I knew my husband, who loves history, would want to visit Alexandria as well, so I focused on those places.
