Head office were quick to answer any queries and assist with bookings etc. The information pack they sent before the trip was very detailed. I would recommend this trip to anyone thinking of going South Korea - It is an amazing country and there are a lot of activities that were included as part of the tour. Our guide Damien was great in recommending other activities and restaurants for when we had free time and he also took us to some great restaurants when we dined as a group. - Claire· October 8th, 2024I enjoyed the variety of activities and sightseeing included in the itinerary. Our group leader Damien was an enthusiastic guide and photographer and always available to answer questions and give recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in free time. It is a busy tour and I enjoyed trying Taekwondo and K-pop dancing, visiting the national park and the bright lights of Seoul. The Buddhist temple stay was the only low point of the tour felt more like a tourist gimmick and left everyone feeling tired and sore for the next couple of days. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a budget tour of South Korea, if I were to do this again as an older member of the group would upgrade to single room as I found dormitory bunks a bit claustrophobic, but except for the temple stay all the accommodation was clean and comfortable.Show moreThe Dragon Trip commented on this reviewThank you for your review! - Namrata· October 3rd, 2024the itinerary was really amazing and it checked out on most of my bucket list. the variety of transport options was also well managed. But the tour guide wasn’t as expressive, and did not tell us a lot of context/nuance behind the facts. this is a very demanding job, being the coordinator & interpreter but i feel i could’ve learnt more had she been a little more proactive. it was difficult to connect with people because initially we all relied on her too much. we eventually found our way but it would’ve been great if she was authoritative and commanding because she was the only one who spoke the language and guided us around. she had our full attention but seemed burdened rather than enjoying it or doing something about it.Show moreThe Dragon Trip commented on this reviewThank you for your feedback! I was worried about staying in hostels, but needn’t have been - they were all much nicer than those I’ve been to in other countries, more like budget hotels than hostels.
