The tour was great, good itinerary, bus tours in parks were excellent. We got a quick response when we had to contact the Itravel. The accommodations were great in El Chalten and Ushuaia. The accommodation in El Calafate the Pioneros was crappy, we had a room in a building in the back of the hotel looking like a bunker, the room was basic, flacking paint on walls, the bathroom ceiling was a panel of plywood and many black spots around the bath. The sidewalk was broken. The breakfast was limited to toast and coffee. This place is to be avoid. In general the breakfast hours are not adapted to the early morning tour. We found this tour just amazing and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to all team.

Good itinerary, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We saw a lot of patagonia. We booked the private room in a hostel option, and all three were great. Hi travel argintina (tour operator) were always responsive, and helped us with questions I had. My only suggestion would be to spend an extra night in el chalten, as 2 days was quite rushed to do all the hikes. Would recommend this tour :)

This was a great and well organised tour. Read the documentation clearly so you know what you need to manage yourself, versus what is organised for you. As long as you do that there will be no surprises. Communication from the agents before and during the trip was exceptional! The airport pick up and transfer to Chalten was efficient and the driver was really awesome, allowing us to stop for photos along the way! The hostel in Chalten (Rancho Grande) was simply superband although the agents didn't inform the place that breakfast was included, they were very accomodating when I showed them my booking voucher. It was great to have the free days there because all there is to do in Chalten is hiking and you can do whatever suits your fitness levels. The bus to Calafate was superb and they booked the best seat for me! The hostel in Calafate (Los Pioneros) was terrible, old and falling apart, especially the dorms. When I complained to the agent they immediately resolved it by moving me to a better room in a slightly newer wing of the hostel in a private room. It was stilll not great but was much better than the dorm and that was fine since I spent almost no time in the room with all the tours. But I do not recommend this place at all. The only good thing was that its walkable (20mins) to the bus station so I didn't have to take an overpriced taxi at 2am, but that's because its slightly outside the main town. Oh and the breakfast is a JOKE. Only supermarket bread and coffee. Not even cheese or ham or anything unless you pay extra for it. This should not even be considered as an included breakfast. The tour from Calafate to Torres del Paine was very long but very very enjoyable, with a lunch box included. Lots of time on the road but really great guide and bus that made it very interesting. The tour to Perito Moreno was pretty bad, the bus was old and rickety, it was raining outside and inside the bus too and we couldn't put our bags down on the floor! There was an unnecessary stop at a farm and there was not enough time at the glacier itself, especially if you did the boat ride. The guide was funny but did not add any value, did not tell us much other than what time to come back and where. Would be better off going there by yourself. The recommended tour on the free day which I booked myself was really incredible, great recommendation. The journey to Ushuaia was lonnng but the buses were very comfy and given the changeover and border crossing passport checks, you're not staying seated for very long periods of time. Hostel in Ushuaia (Yaghan) was nice, very centrally located and chilled. The boat tour to Beagle Channel was nice and worthwhile but the half day tour to the Tierra del Fuego national park was very average. It was so rushed with only 15-20min stops in the park. Again something which is better to do yourself rather than with a tour that spends ages picking up and dropping off people and waiting around.

A good/ very good tour. Some spectacular scenery. Very weather dependent. We were lucky on the whole. Torres del Paine was the only bad day, when it rained and was really windy. Our contact with HiTravel whilst we were on tour was Stefania. She is terrific and couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend this tour. You need pesos whilst on tour . Paying by debit card for national parks is expensive. Spectacular scenery. Lucky enough to see dolphins and a whale in Ushuaia. Los pioneros in El Chalten was very good. Excellent breakfast. Our hotel in El Calafate was also good. Los Cormoranes in Ushuaia was not up to standard.
