From the moment we got picked up to our final drop off everything was taken care of and ran very smoothly . Communication with our booking agent Aida was clear, fast and efficient & our tour guide Wajih was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Jordanian history and culture. We had a modern 12 seater van which even has wifi on board! - William· September 3rd, 2021This trip has been very unique and exceeded our expectations in different ways. From vast landscapes to a narrow siqs, from beautiful sunsets to a beautiful night skies, from deep valleys to high mountains and from cities to a local Bedouin camps, everything was mesmerising. However the most important part of the trip was the warmth, hospitality and unconditional love that we received from local Jordanian people. Two gems of persons were our tour driver Hisham Hale and our hiking guide Suleiman Hasaseen. Hisham was way more than just a tour driver. He genuinely cared for us to ensure we are enjoying our trip in his country; right from making sure we had enough water bottles in the car to taking us for a sumptuous Jordanian meal at his friend's place. Hisham also drove us to couple of extra places even though it was not in the itinerary. He sought feedback from us every single day about our previous day, accommodation, guides and food. We would not have enjoyed our meals at some very amazing restaurants if it had not been Hisham. He knew each city very well; the best food, best coffee and best people to take us on tours or hiking. Before ending the 11 day trip with him, he gifted us souvenirs, took us to a very famous sweets shop and also offered us a meal. We are very grateful that Hisham treated us like his own family. Young Suleiman guided us on the Wadi Dana trail and Wadi Ghuweir trail. Words are short to describe his personality and the happy lifestyle. We were amazed by his thoughts and mindset. Sometimes too much education, luxury and exposure can create complex thought process and we may forget some of the basic principles of being happy. We realised this after spending time with Suleiman during the hikes. He spoke amazing English that he learnt just by speaking to tourists. His lifestyle is minimalistic where even electricity is a luxury in his Bedouin tent. He is happy with what he has - A Tent, Goats and his passion to work as a tourist guide. His idea of life was so simple yet filled with happiness, satisfaction and freedom. After both treks, he invited us to his home, his tent where his mother had prepared a bedouin tea for us. We felt so welcomed and warm in his tent. He once said during the trek that even a simple bread offered with pure love can taste much better than a luxury expensive meal offered with no love. We could realise it after his mom had packed some home made bread for us for our treks. He also carried a tea pot with him during the treks and made us tea with fresh herbs. His interactions will affect our lives and our thought process too. Both Hisham and Suleiman are our friends now and we are happy to have come across these two beautiful souls.
