- Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to SotiKhola (710m) 7-8 hours.
- Day 4 Trek from Sotikhola to Machhakhola (870m) 6-7 hours.
- Day 5 Trek from Machhakhola to Jagat (1340m) 6-7 hours.
- Day 6 Trek from Jagat to Deng (1860m) 5-6 hours.

- CACrossfire· February 5th, 2020This was a reasonably hard trek, but it was very well organised. 12 people, all slightly different, but all accommodated by the team. The team leader (Ram) was great, as were all the guides. The porters were well looked after, and were great. Accommodation was all very good, given where we were. The food was excellent - it is not meat based, and all the better for that. Magnificent scenery. Beautiful scenery especially with all the Rhododendron trees fully flowering. We were quided by Ram Barakoti. He is a responsible, friendly and humoristic quide, felt as a brother in the mountains. He brought us safely over the Larke pass (5106mtr). There was good quidance in how to deal with altitude, clear planning but flexible at the same time. The Manaslu in September is very wet so Ram had to adjust our schedule due to mudslides and other trail hazards. He knew the trail very well and despite delays we finished on time. We highly recommend him. The Manaslu itself is becoming a road. Do it soon or don’t bother. We contacted Uma Holidays l by email before going to Nepal and Ram was always so reactive and thorough in his answers. We felt like we would be in good hands so we decided to use their services. Lakpa our guide despite being only 25 had trekked the Manaslu Circuit 22 times already so he knew what he was doing and we always felt safe. He catered for all our needs and we felt really spoiled. It was a tough circuit but our guide was always patient, encouraging and helpful. We are both not experienced trekkers but this didn't matter as we so well looked after by our guide, Ram. Ram Barakoti is definitely a man of the mountains, knowing the best times to trek and ensuring we were smiling and healthy along the way. We couldn't asked for a better guide. Lets not forget Kiran. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, arranging our trip and itinerary around the trek. Organising transfers, suggesting great places to stay and ensuring we had a smooth trip for our whole time in Nepal.
