  Top Kilimanjaro hiking Trip I have nothing but good things to say about our Kili climb tour. From the beginning, the owner of the company we chose (Serengeti African Tours) for our climb, Lucas, responded promptly to our emails and any questions (there were many). Our guide Gasto was just the best and was very supportive, I don't know if I would have made it to the summit without him by my side. The food was fantastic, all the other hikers were jealous of our meals. The whole team was just amazing. I don't often write reviews, if ever. But these guys deserve a shout out! Greetings

  I had an excellent climb to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro - an achievement that has believe it or not been 30 years in the making. Wow, we crossed some amazing landscapes as we moved up through the five vegetation zones to the higher camps. I can't thank my team enough for the support, encouragement and kindness they showed me. There were eight in all including me. Our Chef Cyprian cooked up a storm. Am amazing man given the conditions under which he delivered nutritious tasty three course meals. Majaliwa who was tasked with looking afterme has an amazing attention to detail in setting up my accommodation quarters. At the end of a day's walk we were met by Hamisi my Summit Porter as we reached the camp sites. A very welcome face at the end of the day. He also accompanied me to the summit. At the end of the day Amini my Guide should take the fullcredit for his encouragement, determination and advice espically on summit day. We exchanged lots of interesting ideas and knowledge. A thousand thankyous. And to the three Porters who supported us all. At the end of the trip I felt like I was one of the team. All good memories for the future.

  An Amazing Trip up Mt Kilimanjaro" The trek up My Kilimanjaro is an absolutely amazing experience. The scenery was so impressive. Our guide Gasto and his team did a really good job ensuring we were safe and well looked after. We were provided with a good tent and James the cook always produced great food for every meal. The porters were always cheery and really helped make the trip special. We found the altitude hard going but were so happy to make it to Summit even though it was snowing! We finished off our trip with a day's safari to Serengeti which was a great way to end the trip seeing a wide selection of wildlife and bird's. Our guide for that day, David, Overall this was a really special holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed. Top tip: if you're going to Mt Kilimanjaro in March take a very warm sleeping bag!

  THE BEST KILIMANJARO TRIP It was a really good trip. David, our main guide, was phenomenal and played a huge role in my submitting. He went above and beyond my expectations and even carried my bag for most of the night on summit night. I have already recommended your company, and more specifically James, to all of my friends who are considering climbing Kilimanjaro. Overall, the trip was phenomenal and I have no negative feedback. Keep retaining guys like David and I'm sure the company will continue to prosper!

  The best Kilimanjaro/safari company operating in Tanzania My husband and I spent two weeks in mainland Tanzania with Serengeti African Tours (first, climbing Kilimanjaro and then on safari in the Serengeti) and we confidently concluded that we had found that this was the best company operating in Tanzania. The company is run by Lucas, who is a young local Tanzanian. All of Lucas's employees spoke incredibly highly of him and his professionalism, describing him as a man who never cuts corners. This was exactly accurate with our impression of him. In the lead up to the trip and during, he was always available, friendly, impressively efficient and easy to communicate with, and patiently answered every one of my questions. He organised exactly the trip we wanted - the activities, perfect dates, to our budget, etc. First, we spent 8 days taking the Lemosho route up Kilimanjaro with Gasto (guide), Justin (assistant guide) and their team of porters. The group knew each other very well, since many of them have worked together for ten years, and their cohesion was evident. They felt like a family and we were made to feel very much a part of that family. Every person we passed on the mountain seemed to know and would greet Gasto, evidencing how respected he is as a guide and also how experienced he is. When he became a guide ten years ago, he was the youngest guide on the mountain. He knows every leaf, every symptom of altitude sickness, every corner of Kilimanjaro. Within a day, he had sussed out our strengths and weaknesses and would tailor our daily schedules to reflect this. The porters always got us the best spots in the campsites, everyone on the team was flawlessly professional and punctual, the food was excellent, the kit we borrowed top quality and the friendliness of the team was wonderful. Making it to the summit was amazing but we will cherish the memory of every member of our team who we spent those 8 days with as much as getting to the top of Africa! Next, we spent four days on a camping safari in central and northern Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, with Aboh (guide) and Richard (chef). They were a fantastic pair who also seemed to know every other guide or ranger we passed! Richard was a magician, cooking up the most delicious meals in such basic conditions. My jaw dropped when he brought us fantastic freshly baked bread for dinner! Richard could absolutely be working for a top restaurant in Arusha. Aboh was super friendly and endlessly knowledgeable about the parks and animals, and managed to not only show us a heap of different animals but some amazing scenes - like a lion and hyena showdown over a killed buffalo! The Safari Soles guides have a great relationship with each other so, since there were two different SS jeeps in the Serengeti at the same time, Isaack and the other guide often worked together, giving each other tips on what they'd found that day etc. So you benefit from the eyes of not just your guide but their other fantastic guides too! It was really important for us to book with a Tanzanian company, not an international one. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us that we'd saved for and we wanted the money we spent to go entirely to Tanzania and the local people. Lucas has gathered a team of the very best guides, porters, chefs in Tanzania. You can't go wrong by booking with him and I am confident that, like us, you'll be grateful every day of your trip for finding Serengeti African Tours!

  Best team to go on top of Africa It's a lifetime experience to do Kili and to succeed thanks to a team that help us fulfilling this. Thanks to Lucas for making it so easy for us, for both, Kilimanjaro and Safaris. Thanks also to Gasto (best guide ever) and all his team that were so kind and so generous, always the smile on their faces. Machame route is wonderful, each day is different with a lot of sceneries and views. We recommend them 1000%.

  Everything was perfect January 2023 Thanks to this great team who supported us, encouraged us and made us laugh during 1 week. The porters were infinitely kind and the cook is a real chef. Everything was perfect! I recommend 300%. Go there with your eyes closed, you will live an extraordinary experience that you will never forget 🤩🏔
